You may get more than you bargained for.

Overall I like this toy/exerciser but not for the purpose it was intended. If you want a kegel exerciser that will keep your mind on the job at hand I'm not sure if this is the one. But if you want something that will keep you in a sexy mood then this could well be the one.
I would recommend these for women with loose PC muscles as they are so easy to keep in.
Either way, just have fun using.

Use

Ophoria is meant to be used as a kegel exerciser and I suppose that is what I tell myself I use it for. It is the only kegel exerciser I have used so I do not have anything to compare it to. I would say this though, it seems a little large as most recommendations I read about kegel exercisers is that you should be squeezing the PC muscle to keep them in and this is not really that necessary (only when the juices start flowing) with these as they are such a snug fit.

Ophoria seems a little rigid at first, but the connecting silicone neck is quite flexible so you can ensure it is inserted correctly.

I insert it by first putting a small amount of lube on the first ball and slowing insert that one, then I hold the second ball and push towards the back wall of my cunt, which you will have to do if you have a tilted cervix like moi. Just insert as though you would a tampon.

Once it is in, give your PC muscles a few squeezes and it should settle into place nicely.

Material / Texture

There was no smell on this one, being silicone and all. I do think it is only the swirls that are silicone though I am not 100% certain.

The swirls are a nice variation and they may possible help in keeping this inside you, but you only really feel them on the way in and on the way out, which could be a distraction depending on your mood!

There is a coated loop at one end which aids in pulling it out. The coating ensures it stay clean and hygienic.

There are weighted balls inside so with movement you are reminded that something is in you and it makes you give the balls a little squeeze. They are discreet and cannot be heard by others. I found the lower the k-balls are in my cunt the more I could feel the weights moving, but this was also an indication that I had not inserted them properly.

Design / Shape / Size

As I said before they size of the Ophoria K-Balls seem a little too large to be a really effective kegel exerciser. I would opt for something a little smaller in the future. However, the size does make it ideal for someone with loose PC muscle or someone just starting out.

Performance

The best thing about this toy is how incredibly wet they make you. It produces so much sexy, slippery wetness that I can't keep them in for too long before I need to orgasm.

I enjoy walking around with these in just to feel my pussy lips sliding together. These balls get me so horny. The looped coated string also has a way of moving between the lips which just make the whole experience even better.

The other plus side to the wetness is that it makes the balls slide down slighty so you have to engage the PC Muscles to push them back up.

The longest I have worn these is about an hour, after which time I felt a aching feeling in my cervix, like it was bruised. I took this to be an indication that I had worn them for too long. I do not recommend wearing them for too long (one review I read said 15-20 mins, whoops!) as they will become uncomfortable to wear.
    • Can become uncomfortable
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

The Ophoria K-Balls are fairly easy to care for, being silicone (water-based lubes only), I just give them a quick rinse (make sure you get in the grooves of the swirls), use soapy water, spray with my sex toy cleaner, rinse again, and dry.

I store them in my toy bag (a make-up bag) ready for the next time.

The ridges don't bother me, you can't really feel them unless you are pulling them in and out.

Glad to hear you enjoy these, thanks for the review.

Thanks for the review! I like the look of these, but they seem on the large side for me.

I thought these looked rather large too. I guess the larger size could be beneficial if they are a little heavier than smaller balls which would work your muscles more. Thanks for the review!

  • K-balls vs. Smart Balls
    • Does anyone have experience with both of these kegel exercisers? Do you have a preference for one over the other? What is noticeably different about them (besides appearance)?

I haven't tried either, but the K-Balls #10 are ribbed while the Smart Balls are not. There's a smooth version of the K-Balls as well, so if you're also considering that, I'm afraid I won't be of much help :) Have you read reviews of the products you are considering? Some of them go into generous detail about the texture and performance of the products. Good luck!
    • I've used both of them. They're similar in size but smart balls are a bit more.. oblong. Smart balls also have a pointy end, where the loop connects. I found this to be painful frequently. I find the K-balls (smooth) to be more comfortable and easier to feel but these things can be anatomy dependent.
