A Dangerous Tango?

System JO 2 to Tango is a lubrication kit designed for couples. With these two bottles, the woman-designed product did exactly mostly what it promised. It had an amazing cooling sensation and was long lasting. However, the man-designed product was not so exciting. It did nothing for the hubby. He received no extra stimulation or added longevity to his erection. After researching the ingredients, this could possibly be a harmful product.

Use

System JO 2 to Tango pack is a lubrication kit for couples. This set was formulated to help men prolong their orgasm and also to speed up a woman's. You will receive two different bottles, both having very different purposes. With decreased sensitivity in men and increased sensitivity in women, you would have the perfect combination to be rode hard and put away wet. This could be a fantastic buy for men that need a little extra "support", as well as any women with orgasms that need a little push to get started.

JO for MEN
The first bottle is the JO for MEN. It is a 2 ounce bottle with a pump style top. The label is silver in color and clearly states for men. It is a water based lubrication that is designed to decrease sensitivity; which would result in a longer love making session.

For Men

JO for WOMEN
The second bottle is the JO for WOMEN. It is also a 2 ounce bottle with a pump style top. The label is a very pretty color of dark pink and, just like the men's version, clearly states for women. Unlike the first bottle, JO for WOMEN is silicone based lubrication. This pretty pink version is formulated to increase sensitivity and stimulate with a cooling/tingling effect.

For Women

The directions state to apply a small amount of lubricant to the genital areas. There is no waiting period, you are set to go! If you are using this product with a condom, you may apply this lubrication on the inside and/or on the outside, if you so choose.

Warnings
**As with all products containing chemicals (or long words you do not know what they mean) If irritation or discomfort occurs, stop use immediately and consult with a doctor.
**It also warns you of the fact that this product is very slippery on surfaces. When I read this I instantaneously regretted not having an old fashion waterbed!
**Clean spills immediately. This product is pretty much clear so staining is not the issue. However, it contains chemicals that could cause skin irritations or burns if an allergy is present.
**Keep out of reach of children (and pets).
**Silicone based lubrication should not be used with silicone toys.
JO Directions

Depending on your preference, either one of these lubricants can be used as a massage oil. I preferred the JO for WOMEN to massage. It is silicone based, which made it really easy to spread and did not dry out. In addition, it has the cooling sensation which felt fantastic on my sore shoulders.

Texture / Consistency / Thickness / Viscosity

With the JO for MEN being a water based lubricant and the JO for WOMEN being silicone based, they are different in feel and frequency of application. JO for MEN is smooth and light. It is not thick and absorbs really well. It takes about the amount in the size of quarter to be able to cover and coat your member well. Because it absorbs so quickly, you will also have to reapply within 5 minutes if you want the lasting effect. I put a small amount on my finger and turned it upside down. It approximately 2 seconds for it to drip off. At the end of the day, it is water. You will not be left feeling greasy or sticky. The JO for WOMEN is also smooth but is thicker, adding a little more weight to it. The silicone gives the lube a little more substance. It covers well with an amount no more than a dime. After application, your hands will feel oily but wipe/wash off easily. It does not absorb in to the skin like the JO for MEN. This lube will last approximately an hour before you would need to apply. I tested this one also, it took approximately 9 seconds to drip. You will definitely want to wash this off afterwards though, your lady bits will be left feeling greasy and super slick.

Taste / Aroma

In our experience, both bottles were completely different in this aspect. JO for Men had a very light minty taste. It was nothing overwhelming or disconcerting but it was definitely present. However, JO for WOMEN had no taste at all. It was apparent that there was something in your mouth but you could not taste anything. Unfortunately, neither one of these products had a smell to it. I actually expected them to have a mint aroma because of the menthol present, but I was wrong. It would have been a nice touch though. Minty smelling items always relax me. My husband prefers no aroma to his lubrication, just one of his quirks I guess.

Performance

The JO for Men is water based and will need to be reapplied frequently to achieve long lasting results. There is no need to be washed off unless you feel uncomfortable or irritated. It is very easy to wash off, just soap and water and you are good to go.

The JO for WOMEN is silicone based resulting in a long lasting product. Unless you are going for an all-night rodeo, this product will not need reapplication. Unlike the JO for MEN, this product will need to be washed off. It will leave you feeling slick and oily. This lube is also easy to clean off. It only requires soap and water also.

I liked the overall idea for this product. These can be used separately or at the same time. We decided we would use them together. When used together, there is no fear of the formulas counteracting each other because silicone acts as a skin protectant. It succeeded. I had no desensitizing issues at all, just as my husband didn't feel the need to blow sooner than normal. As we all know, there are couples out there that are not always satisfied by their partner. If you or your partner has issues with closing the deal, this product is worth a shot. Sadly, it will not work for everyone because all of our bodies work differently.

If you use toys along with these products, keep in mind that not all toys are compatible with both types of lubricant. Make sure to research your toy, along with the lubrication. Lack of this knowledge could result in damage to your toy or even to yourself.
    • Dries up too fast
    • Needs to be washed off with soap and water
    • Reapply often

Packaging

This system comes in a pretty silver box that tells about the products inside. There is pictures of the sex symbols and has an overall description of each lube. The back of the box has a shadowy figure of the two bottles with a more detailed desired result listed. You open the box from the side and the cardboard cartridge holding the two bottles slides right out. There is no design or wording on the sides of the box.

Box Front

Box Back

There were no paper instructions included on the inside of the box, but there are instructions on the back of the box. The same instructions are also included on the back of the label on both bottles.

Discreet? Well... these bottles are discreet enough if you want to sit them out in your bedroom but definitely not discreet enough to leave them lying around the house. Because the purpose is labeled on the front of each bottle (and all over the box), it would not be difficult to figure out what they are used for. You could travel easily with these. If you feel the box is too big for you, just take the bottles out of box. Both of the bottles have a plastic cap that covers the pump. Those caps make it even easier to take them with you where ever you go.
    • Does not leak
    • Easy to use / dispense
    • Travel friendly

Special Features

There are a whole mixture of ingredients that all have different purposes. I have listed below the ingredients in this kit and what their intended purpose would be. I have also listed any warnings attached to them and a few tidbits of information that I found to be interesting. All of this information was found from Wikipedia unless a different website is linked.

JO for MEN
Methyl Paraben- An anti-irritant agent and water-soluble anti-microbial. It works well with sensitive skin types and is gentle and non-irritating.
Propyl Paraben- Preservative in water-based cosmetics. "According to a 2004 study published by the Journal of Applied Toxicology, parabens were detected in malignant breast tumors" - quoted from this website.
Sodium Carboxymethyl Cellulose- Thickening agent. It is non-toxic and hypoallergenic.
Propylene Glycol- Moisturizer in cosmetics and skin care. Also used for a de-icer for aircraft wings and the production of paintballs.
Benzocaine- local anesthetic, desensitizer
Mentha Piperita- "Peppermint" the primary source of the cooling sensation.
PEG 8- holds the form.
Water

JO for WOMEN
Cyclopentasiloxane- Silicone
Cyclotetrasiloxane- Lubricant base. According to this website this ingredient is no longer being used because of it has been deemed potentially hazardous. "The industry does not use this ingredient any longer and has moved to blends of the D5 and D6 grades of cyclomethicones"--Hmm... Really?
Dimethiconol- Moisturizer.
Dimethicone- Another moisturizer. It is also the main ingredient in silly putty and an active ingredient in RainX.
Menthol- Local anesthetic.

ALSO... According to this website you should avoid these things:

Words ending in "paraben"
DMDM hydantoin
Imidazolidinyl urea
Methylchloroisothiazolinone
Methylisothiazolinone
Triclosan
Triclocarban
Triethanolamine (or "TEA")
Start with "PEG" or have an "-eth" in the middle

I'm not sure if you noticed but several of these ingredients are listed in this System JO. Also as you read above, there are some that have been present in cancer cells and are labeled as potentially hazardous. We did test this product out, but we will not be using this product any more.

Experience

During our experience, the JO for Men did not deliver as promised. It did not prolong my husband's erection or give him any added stimulation. The JO for WOMEN did have an amazing cooling sensation and was a fantastic lubricant. It did not increase my sensitivity though. I would have given this product 3 stars but after the research and results, I am giving it a one star. It just makes me nervous.
