A Good Time Was Had By All

This is an excellent toy for a man who likes vibrations and/or a stretchy cock ring. Great for beginners. If you think it's going to turn your man into a human rabbit vibrator, I'm sorry to tell you it won't.

It's definitely worth the 13 bucks for anyone with a steady partner who likes vibrations on his man parts. Way better than a $20+ movie date!

Use

I feel it is only right to let you know what this review has been written by a woman. I was born a woman and identify as a woman. Currently and most frequently, I am seeing a male partner. That is the perspective from which I write this review.

This toy should work well for any man who likes vibrating and/or stretchy cock rings. I had noticed that my partner likes it when I use a vibrator while we're getting busy but can't usually last as long because he likes it too much. I decided, "why not kill two birds with one stone and try this ring?" I liked that the vibrating part was perpendicular, rather than parallel, to the ring itself. I thought it might do something fun for me as well.

Some of his comments:

"It feels a little strange." (He'd never tried a cock ring before.)

"Look at all the veins!" (I do so love it when men admire their own junk.)

"Am I gonna be able to cum with this thing on?" (. . . before I turned on the vibration and we got down to things.)

"Aah, aaaah AAAH OH! MMMMMMMMM!!!" (Yes, it is possible to cum with it on.)

Material / Texture

The Boss Cock's Pleasure Ring is made of TPR. It's latex free, phthalates free, and can be used with either water-based or silicone lubes. It has little nubs on both the inside and outside of the ring, probably meant for added stimulation, but neither my partner nor I felt them during use. It had no discernible odor out of the box but having washed it with toy cleaner and then with soap a couple times, it smelled vaguely of the soap I had used.

TPR is pretty sticky so it definitely attracts lint, pet hair, etc. Be sure to wash it before and after use. It's really stretchy. I imagine that's due to its sticky texture. A guy who doesn't shave or manscape might find that this ring pulls on hair which is something to consider, as we know that unnecessary pain can make or break an excellent time. My guy trims and had no problems.
    • No odor
    • Somewhat porous

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

As I mentioned, this ring is really stretchy. It starts out small enough to fit comfortably on my middle finger but I can stretch it around all four fingers, so any size of guy should be able to wear this bad boy. My guy complains about most condoms being too tight (Magnums seem to work okay), but he didn't complain about this . . . just said that it felt a little odd at first.

I was very excited about the design of this ring because most vibrating cock rings have the vibrator going in the opposite direction as this one. It seemed like it should turn him into a human rabbit vibrator. Alas, it fell a bit short of my expectations. When he was very deep inside me I could notice the vibration, although the vibrating part hit (mmm . . .), kinda between my vagina and urethra rather than hitting my clitoris. It wasn't uncomfortable but really didn't do a whole lot more than what he does for me on his own.

We use condoms and you should know that we had to try this twice when we first we put the ring on. It works best if you put on the condom before the ring. No idea why we didn't think of that beforehand other than just wanting to get started with it. We found that it wasn't going to work with a condom when we put the ring on first. If you want to use it for warm up before putting a condom on, you should then remove it, slap on the rubber, and then put the ring back on. It's stretchy enough that you shouldn't have a problem with getting it over a hard penis unless your man is extremely large.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The vibrator on this isn't extremely powerful. It has two speeds: on and off. I didn't care because it was still cool when I felt it and I knew he was loving it. One plus - it's really, really quiet. I didn't notice the sound at all once we got going. I could hardly hear it when turning it on in my hand. I would guess that a dude could use it solo in a room with a sleeping roommate or in a dorm or locker room shower as long as he doesn't make a lot of noise when he gets off (kind of a weird thing to think about, but let's face it . . . it could happen).

Looking at the tags below, it has "very stimulating" and "not very stimulating" as options. My partner found it very stimulating, but I did not, so I chose neither. Once he got used to it, he found it comfortable. It's easy to put on and take off.

It uses two little tiny button batteries. They say LR41 on them. It looks like they can be bought online for about $5.00 for a strip of 10 (plus shipping). It uses two at a time. It comes with a set in the toy and an extra set. I have only used it once, so can't really speak to battery life at this point.

From the websites I looked at, it appears like these might also be names/codes for the same battery (you should do more research before taking my word on it): AG3, G3A, LR736, LR41, L736, 192, 392, GP192, V36A, 392A, 92A.

    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

TPR is somewhat porous and can't be fully sterilized so this shouldn't be used with multiple partners. You can (and likely should) take the tiny bullet out, wash it separately, and put some toy cleaner in the cavity for the bullet; maybe on the end of a Q-tip or something similar.

The tiny little bullet has a tiny little gasket that makes it waterproof but I'd recommend taking the batteries out during cleaning and/or between uses.

Packaging

It comes in a nice little box measuring 4" x 2" x 1.25". The 4" inch measurement is due to the little thing that sticks out so it can be hung on a rack for display. If you were to cut it off, it would be 3". It's made from plastic and says a bunch of stuff about the product on every side. The most interesting/informative things it says are: reusable, waterproof, long lasting, and extra batteries.

Experience

My lover LLLLLLOVED this toy. I definitely didn't hate it. For me, physically, it was only marginally more interesting than my regular interactions with him, other than the fact that he was so obviously way into what he was feeling and how rock hard his dick was. His movements were a little different which was interesting and titillating.

As I said before, remember to put a condom on first if you use them. The other thing we realized when we took the ring off to put the condom on was that where the bullet is placed will make a difference (albeit small) for the receptive partner. I personally (and we changed its position a few times since I was doing this review) liked it with the vibrating part towards the ceiling when I was on my back and him facing down; towards the floor when I was on my front with him facing down; and, I don't think we got to me on top of him before he got done with that. Anyway, I preferred the vibrating part of the ring to point toward my clit, even if it didn't quite get there. He actually preferred it (before it occurred do him that it was supposed to be pleasing to me too - yeah, he can be a bit of a meat-head) with the bullet facing towards and touching his balls. Good to know for warm up purposes but if he wants to keep using it (which I predict he will), I've found that it does next to nothing for the receptive partner that way. We'll need to play around with it to see how we can make things happen. It may never work super well with my anatomy, but it certainly doesn't bother me in any way, and I love what it does for my partner!
Follow-up commentary
I think it's so cute when my partner says "I know how much you like that vibrating thingy you got me... want me to put it on?". I can't help but say "Oh hell yeah". We've used it several times now and I'm happy to report that there are in fact positions and body movements we've found that make this toy WAY better than I originally thought. Me on top- good times! Not only have I started to like the ring itself more, but I really, really like what it does for him- his pleasure, his self-confidence, his erection. If I could change my rating, I'd give it 4 stars now. We both like it.
