This is my second Fleshlight, the first being the STU. Like other Fleshlights, this is a great toy for both masturbation and for use with a partner. The smaller cap on the back end is slightly angled, however, so standing the toy up and thrusting down into it is not an easy option.

The back cap of the shell can be tightened or loosened for more or less suction, respectively. This model seems more tightly constructed than the STU, such that fully closing the back cap results in a very tight seal. If I'm inside the toy when I seal it down, the vacuum is strong enough to hold the whole thing onto my penis. If I'm outside the toy and the back cap is sealed, then I can only enter it very slowly and with quite a bit of lube and effort. It is a little bit like a "first time" experience.

The Flight also contains numerous interior textures that differ along the length of the toy (more on that below), so entering from the back of the sleeve produces a much different sensation compared to entering through the front. However, the narrow aperture of the shell's rear opening means I have to remove the sleeve entirely in order to enter it from that end. Holding the sleeve by its front and lowering the rear opening onto the glans produces a very light touch that is intensely teasing.

That being said, the variety and types of interior textures means that users looking for a realistic sensation should choose a different model.

The outer casing is hard black plastic with a dimpled texture like a golf ball. The inner sleeve is a pliant, clear, jellylike material. Compared to the pink-colored Fleshlight skin of the STU, I find the clear version to have a much more tacky texture. Corn starch works well as a dry lubricant to make the exterior parts smooth and velvety again. I find that this is necessary prior to each use, otherwise the exterior part of the Flight has a tendency to lightly grab and pull on any skin it contacts.

My favorite aspect of the Flight is that it treats the user to multiple different textures. The exterior has shallow crevices that form a vortex-like pattern which you can pretty easily see in the pictures. Those crevices proceed into about the first inch or so of the toy. The next inch or so contains numerous, small, evenly-spaced nubs. For an inch or so beyond that, there are larger, more pointed nubs (of course, due to the softness of the material, the points don't feel sharp). I find this section of the toy to be highly stimulating when used with a twisting, swirling motion. Up to this depth, the aperture of the sleeve is roughly as big around as my pinky, so the feel is pretty tight.

Beyond this pleasure gauntlet of nubs lies perhaps the most interesting part of the toy: a single region of the interior that constricts down to about half the original diameter. The Fleshlight skin is pliant enough that this membrane will allow passage, but it certainly feels extremely tight over a very localized area. The tightness of this membrane may contribute to the intensity of the vacuum that the Flight can produce. Beyond this, there's an inch or two of long, finger-like projections, followed by an inch or so that is finely ribbed. The final inch of the sleeve is completely smooth. These last sections are of wider aperture, roughly an inch in diameter, which makes them easily slipped over the penis under their own weight when the sleeve is removed and held by its front.

The overall size of the Fleshlight Flight is slightly smaller than the full-size models like the STU. The whole thing is maybe seven inches long and four inches in diameter at its widest point. The overall shape is a little more contoured than the older models too. All together, I think these changes make the toy a bit more aesthetically pleasing and add a touch of class, if that word can be applied to sex toys.

While I'm pretty sure this model is large enough to accommodate 90% of the male population, men with extremely long penises are advised that the Flight might be a tad short for them, at least when the back cap is on.

I have to admit that I initially didn't like this toy. I had tried simply thrusting in and out of it like any other sleeve, and I found that the constricted ring in the middle made that somewhat uncomfortable. However, I have since recognized that the Flight is better used for teasing one's way to orgasm rather than simply thrusting, and I've since grown to really like it. By "teasing one's way to orgasm," I don't mean to give the impression that reaching orgasm is at all difficult with this toy. Far from it. It's just that I tend to use smaller motions for stimulation, focusing in on one or two textured regions, rather than large in-and-out strokes. I would advise anyone using this toy on their guy to follow that same idea. Your mileage may vary.

The clear Fleshlight skin was a curious choice, given that the shell is opaque. It is kind of neat to see yourself through it when removed from the shell, though I don't find that to be a huge selling point. I haven't used it much in a couples setting, but maybe seeing through it would have some appeal for one's partner.

Like other Fleshlights, this toy can be very quiet if used slowly, but air will hiss out of the back cap if it is used vigorously. With the back cap removed, the squishing sound is louder, so that won't silence the toy during enthusiastic use.

The Flight is fairly high maintenance. It needs to be rinsed thoroughly with water before being put away. The constricted area in the middle restricts water flow, so I'm always a little concerned about just how thorough my cleaning is.

The material doesn't seem quite as sturdy as the pink Fleshlight skin. I started to notice signs of the material degrading after only a couple of months, though these toys are certainly still usable after that has begun.
