I got this cock ring because I suffer from ED. I've tried some other rings in the past with limited success and figured I'd give this one a try to see how well it worked. With this in context, I did not try using this cock ring with a pump. I had a pump a few years ago but ended up throwing it away. This review will focus on using this cock ring for the purposes of maintaining an erection but that does not mean it would or would not work as the packaging indicates for use in combination with a pump.

I have used this cock ring both during masturbation and during intercourse. However, it is a little too uncomfortable for me to want to use it during masturbation. I will probably only use it during intercourse in the future since a solid erection isn't nearly as important during masturbation. The packaging states that it can also be used in combination with a pump to help maintain an erection after removing the pump. In my mind I don't see how this could work very well as in order to get a vacuum with most pumps, you have to put it directly against the pelvic skin. So as soon as you would try to pull the cock ring back off of the pump and onto the penis I would think the air would leak out from the pump before you could get the cock ring on. As I said I didn't try this so that's just my thought.

One other reason I got this cock ring is my wife and I just recently switched over to using condoms for birth control and have a large number of condoms that are just a little too big for my penis and have a tendency to want to partially come off. With this cock ring on it helps to avoid this.

This cock ring is made out of rubber and surprised me that it did not have any sort of smell to it at all. It has some stretch to it but I would not call it super stretchy. It will expand maybe up to a half an inch when pulled from all sides but that takes quite a bit of pressure to do. The material is completely smooth. The only area of any roughness at all is on one side where the words "Made In China" are imprinted . The texture is smooth but with a lot of friction unless adequately lubricated. This isn't a deal breaker as most cock rings are like this but it's still a bit of a hassle having to cover it in lube before putting it on. I have been keeping my pubic hair very short lately. So I am not sure how it would handle with longer hair, but in my case, I have not had any issues with my hair getting caught on it.

When I was looking for cock rings, I wanted to try and find something on the smaller end of the spectrum because of my small penis size (about 1.25" in diameter). I'm still trying to figure out if a larger cock ring would have worked better as I detail in the performance section, it feels like it's the right size starting out but after becoming enlarged, it feels too snug. I'm wondering if something the same size but more stretchy might work better. This is the main fault in this toy (if you want to call it that) that I don't see this toy fitting most men's penis' very well since as I'm pretty small and find it hard to fit on mine.

I do like how it has the two rings on the side. Even with my penis fully erect it is pretty easy to take off though other than this.

This a really basic cock ring. There's no vibrator or nubs for stimulation. Just about the only function it has is restricting blood from leaving the penis and helping either getting or maintaining an erection. Considering this is the number one purpose I got this for, it does a good job. Some people talk about getting a longer or fuller erection due to a cock ring and I notice this a little bit but not to a huge extent. I don't think it's actually bigger or fuller but the penis has various levels of erection with the fullest level being right before you're getting ready to orgasm. This cock ring gives you more of the full erection you normally only get right before orgasm even when you're not nearly as turned on which can lead to more pleasure from your partner due to the increased erection size. This doesn't necessarily make you last longer which is another claim of a lot of cock rings but it does allow you to slow down and not have to worry about loosing your erection because you're not getting enough stimulation or turned on enough.

Now the main flaw with this cock ring is the fact that once I do get a good erection it can start to hurt because the ring is so small and doesn't stretch very easily. In my case, since I have a small penis I can still use it to get a firm erection and then I take it off after it starts to hurt some. I actually was able to wear it all the way through to orgasm the other day but that was a first and there was still a little bit of discomfort but not nearly as bad as usual. So in my case this toy works for what I need it for but for someone larger I'm worried it would be too uncomfortable even starting out and would not be a good choice.

The first and most important thing with a cock ring is to be careful not to wear it for too long as this can cause permanent damage to your penis. The general rule is 30 minutes. Beyond that, since this toy is made of rubber you should only use it with water or silicone based lubricants. This is more a precaution than anything else since because of the rubber's thickness any sort of breakdown from using it with a oil based lubricant would be minimal but it's still best to avoid them. I would actually be more careful with not letting this toy touch other rubber or jelly toys as this is more likely to have a reaction than an oil based lube. It might not melt but it is quite possible for it to become discolored, especially with it being white. You can keep it in the included packaging or something else that'll keep it separated from other toys. I tend to keep mine in the bag my Probe Thick and Rich lubricant came in. This works out pretty well since I'm usually going to be using them both at the same time.

As far as cleaning goes, soap and water has worked adequately for cleaning. It should be noted that rubber is porous and can not be sterilize so it should only be used by one person. Considering it isn't used internally at all it doesn't seem to get very dirty and is easily cleaned.

This cock ring came packaged in a clear reclosable plastic container. It does contain a picture of a guys penis which is distasteful to me. This is easily remedied by removing the paper insert and now it can be stored in the case. The back has some information about using the cock ring with a pump. It also contains a warning of not wearing the toy more than 30 minutes and consulting a doctor about ED.

Compared to other cock rings I've used this one actually has been better than some of the others I've had. It's not really thick so it doesn't get in the way and unlike some jelly ones I've used, it doesn't break after several uses. I'm still going to look for something better than this but until then this will be the cock ring I'll use until then.
