The hose is made from PVC which is light weight, water resistant and offers a longer life cycle with minimal maintenance. None of the materials or textures offers any extra stimulation. With is being such a large toy it is definitely not discreet.

After use I take everything apart and clean the cylinder and sleeve with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, make sure I dry it well with a lint free towel. After it is well dried I put it back together without the batteries and store it in the box it came in. Also remember to use only water based lubes with this pump.
