Atlas is quite supportive

Since cock rings typically do not need to change size or be very adjustable, it is often a good idea to get a set sized ring for that extra pressure you get out of a stiffer material. The Atlas ring does a fine job of providing the desired resistance while still offering some degree of flexibility. It may not be the most adjustable ring around, but it sure looks swell.

Use

So this here ring is not a normal ring. It is a very specific ring for a very specific purpose. You see, some fellas wish their Johnson were just a tad firmer, or a smidge more sensitive. Now that can be fixed right up with certain creams and lotions, but the cleaner and possibly more aesthetically pleasing option is to wear this very special type of ring. This, ladies and gentlemen, is a cock ring.

Now I know what you're thinking, and no. That is called a Prince Albert.

This type of ring is worn at the base of the penis, either at the bottom of the shaft or around both shaft and scrotum. Typically the bloodflow is partially constricted by the ring, causing pressure to build up inside the spongy tissue of the penis. This causes the erection to be much firmer and often prolongs the erection to a degree as well.

Since a cock ring is a vasoconstrictor, care must be taken to not cause any lasting damage. Rings should not be worn for more than half an hour at a time or circulatory damage may result.

Material / Texture

The Atlas ring is made of body safe silicone which is just about the best material out there for toys. It is easy to sterilize, completely non porous, and can be used with any non-silicone lubricant. Typically silicone is a very pure material and does not contain the heavy metals and toxins found in lower grades of toy materials such as certain types of jelly and rubber.

The Atlas has a very distinct texture in the form of ridges along the outer edge of the ring, but closer examination shows the ridges do not extend around the entire circumference of the ring, stopping before reaching the area in contact with the skin of the wearer. This gives a good look and provides some degree of stimulation to the receiver.
    • No odor
    • Not porous at all
    • Stretchy

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The shape is fine for a ring of this size, and the design is of fine form and function. While silicone is a relatively stiff material, the Atlas ring stretches to accommodate most penis sizes and delivers good pressure once in place. It stretched easily and I could put it on and take it off with no trouble. Some rings are able to stretch to a great degree to wrap around not just the shaft of the penis, but around the scrotum as well. While I could stretch the Atlas far enough to do so, the strong silicone pulled back to its original shape with such force and pressure that I could not enjoy the sensation and had to remove it. When wrapped just around the shaft however, it fit fine and looked pretty snappy if I do say so myself.
    • Only fits on penis shaft
    • Will fit most men

Care and Maintenance

Silicone, as we all know should never be used with a silicone lube. Since this is a ring to be worn on the penis, the user must take extra care than any condoms used with this ring do not have an incompatible lube already present. Sometimes it's hard to tell! Silicone being very heat resistant, you can boil the Atlas ring to sterilize it or put it in the dishwasher if you want to find it at the bottom of a beer glass weeks later. I wipe mine with antibacterial wipes and store it in a Ziploc bag. Works great!

Nice review, and I love the Greek mythology reference in the title. You just make this classical civ. geek very happy.

Haha and here I thought I was making nerd jokes for my own benefit. Cal Exotics needs to get their naming scheme sorted out though, having Atlas, Adonis, and Hercules all in the same series is a little confusing, mythologically speaking.
