Be Careful, This Dragon can Burn.

Shunga Dragon cream is a great arousal/warming product. Since it's not really a lube, it's better to use it like any other arousal cream - in moderation. The overall experience of using Shunga Dragon cream is very nice. I will usually put a drop on myself before sex as a gift to me more than as a surprise for my lover. However, Shunga Dragon cream does make a great surprise for a woman to give her man during a handjob.

useful review
The Shunga Dragon Cream is a male sexual enhancer designed to increase the strength and pleasure of sex and orgasm. Does the Dragon Cream actually achieve its goal? Well, yes and no. Let me first address the claims: strength and pleasure. The Shunga cream contains a few active ingredients (ex. L-arginine) that deliver the chemical punch in this product. To my knowledge, only prescription medications like Viagra can improve the strength of a man’s erection. Although L-arginine is a mild vasodilator which increases blood flow, it cannot compare to prescription drugs in that department. I'm not sure how Shunga Dragon cream is supposed to increase the strength of an orgasm, but it did not make climaxing any easier to achieve or make orgasm any longer than usual. As for pleasure, Shunga Dragon cream succeeds in this fight. The warming sensations from the cream are very pleasurable when used in moderation.

For the recommended amount (pea sized drop), Shunga Dragon cream creates a mild warming and tingling sensation around the head and shaft of a man’s penis. The sensations were noticeable but not so intense as to be uncomfortable. During sex, I was still able to feel the tingling sensation (the warming sensation was lost to another heat source). In fact, the warm and tingling sensation lasted for about 30 minutes before I cleaned up. However, if you do not use the recommended amount – if a little is good, more must be better, right? – then you will end up with an entirely different experience, a painful one. Using too much Shunga Dragon cream, anything more than a quarter sized amount (hey, it was for science), will cause intense warming and tingling that border on a mild chemical burn and will last for about an hour – a very long hour. If you make the mistake of putting too much on, you might be able to wash most of it off with warm soapy water before it soaks into the skin.

The Shunga Dragon cream itself is very nice to put on. It’s very creamy without being oily or sticky. It soaks into the skin without leaving much of a residue behind after about a minute of rubbing it in. In combination with a handjob, I highly recommend using it to enhance the experience. The cream also comes with a little strawberry aroma without trace of unpleasant chemical smell. Since this was an arousal lube, neither of us tasted the cream, and I don't recommend anyone do so either. The bottle itself is very classy and rather small (perfect travel size). The lip snaps shut quite well and hasn’t leaked since I bought it. Also, the box looks very elegant too (no half-naked models).
Experience
I loved using Shunga Dragon cream for handjobs and masturbating. For sex, though, it was more fun for me than for my lover. We did not try to have sex when I put on the larger amount of the cream as I quickly lost my erection and ran to the bathroom. However, for the normal amount, I could still feeling the tingling but my wife did not feel much of anything. Granted, I did not put any of it directly on her, but she only felt a little of the tingling and warming. Nice, but nothing earth-shattering. In fact, when I tried to push the line toward too much, she found the sensations to be rather distracting and not arousing. If we had sex for longer than 10-15 minutes, I began to understand what she meant. It's kind of like eating curry or hot pepper food with too much spice. Eventually, you can't taste the flavor of the food anymore and all you notice is the heat (and hopefully not burning).
Follow-up commentary
I've found that I can combine Shunga Dragon cream with other lubes (e.g. Maximus) and still feel the same tingling/warming sensations without it getting diluted. I still use it regularly but usually as part of foreplay and not specifically during intercourse.

Really good explanation on this! I have this and it was a little tough to describe... and use! Lol. I'm a female, but I was able to feel it (majorly) when I used it on my partner and then intercourse. I agree, this can cause discomfort! My partner (male) can't orgasm when we use this! It prolongs too long. Lol. I like it for just rubbing and stuff though. Your wife may like it for that too. It's a good product, but I get a little nervous using it because for intercourse it makes it to where neither of us get there. Nice info on this though! I see it does act a little diff. for different people.

I've heard different things about this product -- some say that its' better for males, some say for females. While it's on sale, I may grab some.

Thank you for a good, helpful review. (By the way, aren't "dragons" supposed to "burn"? Otherwise they are just lizards???!!!
