Bamboo boxer short - shorts discontinued by Male Power - review by Kissy

There are quite a few boxer options sold here at EdenFantasys. I like to buy a variety of them for my husband, and I've written a few reviews now on them. So if you are debating on which ones to purchase, I can help you with my multiple reviews. Packaging: Thank goodness for the plastic bag!!
The Teal Bamboo Boxer Shorts by Male Power come in a semi-hard cardboard box. Inside the box the boxers were wrapped in a plastic bag. The packaging is a perfect even box, which makes it easy for gift wrapping. There is a large image of the model in the boxer shorts and the outside of the box gives some product information about the contents.

Made in China

Side note: My order included massage oil and the massage oil spilled in the shipping. The oil got all over the packaging cardboard box and the item packaging. I was so thankful inside the boxers were in a tight plastic. They were not stained with oil like all of the packaging boxes inside.


Care/ Maintenance:
The care instructions say that you can machine washed in cold water and tumble dry on a cool heat. You should not use bleach when washing them and remove promptly. If you wanted to take extra precaution, you could hand wash and line dry.

The care instructions are listed on the packaging as well as the tag sewn into the boxer shorts. We have laundered these twice as directed and they are looking as good as new.

Size: Sizing is correct – shocking!!!
We ordered the XL
These boxers are available in the sizes: M, L, and XL.
My husband is typically a 36 waistband in jeans and workpants. We have found that from personal experience to order up for the boxers at EdenFantasys. We found they run a bit small, so XL seems to be the best choice in size. In this case, the sizing was more right on... whoops.

The sizing on the Male Power packaging for a XL is 40-42 USA.

Measurements I took:
Laying flat across top: 17 inches (stretched to 22 inches)
Laying flat across mid: 23 inches
Laying flat leg opening: 14 inches
Top to bottom length: 15 inches

These boxers are very loose on my husband. They are more like swim trunks. For these boxers I recommend following the exact size chart information and ordering your correct size. No need for the guessing game on these, they are accurate. The Large would have been a better fit for my guy.

Material/Texture: Smooth and a lot of added bamboo benefits!
Material Makeup: 95% bamboo and 5% lycra
This fabric has a lot of claims – it repels moisture, and keeps it off of the skin. It has anti-bacterial properties. It keeps you cool, yet comfortable and regulates body temperature. With the many claims of bamboo – we had a lot of testing to do!

While we couldn't prove anything about the antibacterial properties, we did find they are very breathable, which help maintain temperature. My husband always runs a little hot, but said they did breath better than 100% cotton boxers that he has, yet he didn't know about the keeping you cool part. I mean they are on a hot region of your body!

He found the fabric is very soft and smooth to the touch. It is also very clingy and stretchy. The material is lighter than cotton, but a bit heavier than silk. He loved wearing these!

Design/Shape:
The Teal blue is a stunning look. These are some of the prettiest (am I allowed to call boxers that?) boxers that my husband owns. They are a lovely shade of blue, very vibrant and outstanding. They are similar to turquoise, but on the blue side. There is no pattern to them, just the solid teal fabric. The top band is black and does have the MP (Male Power) logo on it, which is a bit obnoxious! There is a flap in the front with a security panel and a button. There is a lot of room in these flowy shorts, which is great for my husband's bubbly butt!

Personal Experience : A winner says the hubby!
These are great boxer shorts for my hubby to lay around lazily in or wear under clothing. Even though they are a little big (we ordered them this way and suggest ordering your typical size) they don't bunch up and are not noticeable under clothing. They can be worn around the house since they are not see through or revealing and have the modesty flap and button. The waist band is not bothersome and he prefers these to cotton boxers.
