Big Things come in Small Packages

Cock rings take a lot of shapes, but normally simplicity is the secret of success. In that regard, the Vibro ring does a nice job of delivering the goods in a small, streamlined package.

Use

Size isn't everything. At least what us self-conscious men have been telling ourselves for centuries!

Well, proving the old maxim true is the Vibro Penis Ring by Orion. Small, but powerful, this cock ring comes complete with a micro-sized bullet vibrator - combining the benefits of a cock ring with a stimulating vibe.

The packaging is mostly in German, but comes with some pretty clear illustrations of the two different ways of using this product. You can wear it 'over' the cock - with the ring round the shaft, above the balls, and the vibrator nestling on the top, ready to stimulate a partner's clitoris during missionary sex. Alternatively, you can go 'unter' and nestle the vibrator into your ballsack, creating extra stimulation for the wearer.

Consisting of a single stretchy ring, the Vibro Penis Ring is easy to take on and remove, making it ideal for novices or beginners.

Material / Texture

The Vibro ring is made from stretchy TPE - thermoelastic plastic. It balances tightness around the shaft of your penis with stretchiness to accommodate larger differing penis sizes and aid getting it on and off. This is always the knife-edge that makes or breaks a cock ring and I have to admit, they've got it just about right here. It's a good balance between stretchy and taut, offering a good balance between the tightness to strengthen and stimulate an erection and the ease of getting it on and off.

One criticism? It proudly boasts that it's '100% silikon' on the cover, but is actually TPE - which is a good material, but not sterilizable like silicone.You can't help feeling a little mislead by them claiming the material was something that it wasn't.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

There are two schools of thought with cock rings - above the balls, or below them. In theory, cock rings that clamp the cock below the balls trap the most blood overall (and make the whole shaft stiffer.) Rings that go above the balls are more manageable and arguably just as effective. The Vibro goes above the balls - so how you feel on the matter might influence the purchase.

Functions / Performance / Controls

There's a small, slim bullet on the top (or bottom, depending on how you wear it) of the Vibro ring. It slips in and out of the TPE sleeve and takes watch batteries to work. How many is up to you to work out for yourself. Four come included with the package, but I got it to work fine with just one (leaving three spares) and then crammed another one in there. It's all kind of small and cheap, but if you tighten it up right, the vibrations are nice and strong and you can't really criticize it.

Care and Maintenance

TPE is a pretty sturdy material, but is porous - so you can't share the Vibro ring with other users or recipients. Likewise, you can use water based lubes on it, but steer clear of oil based. The Vibro ring comes with a clear plastic blister pack which is a perfect place to store it.

Packaging

The Vibro ring comes in a clear plastic blister-pack with four spare batteries. The blister pack's easy to open (CD and video game manufacturers, please take note) and can be reused to store the toy safely and hygienically.

I think you were 'supposed' to use all four, but I have seen toys come with spares so I tried just one at first and it worked fine, but wouldn't always switch on when you pressed the button.
