Silicone penis ties review by Doc Johnson

When I received my Silicone penis ties by Doc Johnson, I was pretty excited to use them, though my husband was a bit apprehensive about putting something on that was supposed to cut off circulation to his most vital area. This is only our second time using a cock ring; our first being a disappointing experience with a loose, barely vibrating one. So after a little convincing with my husband, we finally tried one of the cock ties.

The set comes with two cock ties; one that goes around the penis and one that goes around the penis and testicles together. They are adjustable and made of silicone, so they can fit most sizes and are more hygienic; which is always nice. But that’s about the extent of the ties’ good qualities. We only tried the tie for the penis and never actually got as far as trying out the tie that goes around the penis and testicles for a couple of reasons. The main problem we had that kept us from exploring the ties further was the adjustable feature. When you try to tighten the tie, it pinches like crazy! Nothing kills the mood like a pinched penis.

The other problem is I think my husband and I (gasp) may just not be cock ring/tie people. The sight of a purple, swollen penis tends to scare us a bit. I know the whole point of a cock ring is to cut off some circulation to make erections longer lasting and harder as well as cause longer ejaculations, but we just didn’t really like the look of it. [Editors note: Cock rings are not commonly known for causing longer ejaculations but actually delaying ejaculation for longer periods of time.] In all fairness though, the cock ties served their purpose, at least a little bit. My husband’s erection did seem bigger and his ejaculation was a little longer, but the negatives of these cock ties outweigh the positives. One big pinch on the penis is about enough to make us never want to touch those ties again. So, maybe I didn’t completely do my job of testing these things out since we didn’t try the tie for the penis and testicles, but I think that’s understandable.

I can only give the Silicone penis ties two stars because while they are silicone and adjustable, the way they’re constructed just makes it too easy to get pinched in them. Perhaps someone who likes cock ties better than I do may find them more useful, but I’m pretty sure there are better ones out there.
