Their are multiple reasons to use a vibrating cock ring. The first of which is to restrict blood flow from the penis, which acts to make the penis firmer, and also to delay ejaculation. Material / Texture-

After searching for a long time for a non-jelly vibrating cock ring, we found this one. It is made out of TPR silicone, which is a silicone based rubber compound. It has an Eden Fantasy's material safety rating of a 6 out of 10. It is not as safe as pure silicone, but it is phthalates free, hypo-allergenic, and latex free. It has a very slight smell to it, but I only sense it when I put it up to my nose. I have not tested silicone lube on the ring, but because it is made out of a silicone based rubber compound, I would recommend using a water based lube.

Design / Shape / Size-

I have yet to try stretching the ring around my penis and balls at the same time, but the material is very stretchy. Pulling it apart at its sides, I was able to stretch it out to over 3 inches without much worries about the ring breaking. It has a total length of 4 inches, with the double dolphins extending out 2 inches from the back of the ring. Each dolphin has a hole for its own vibrating bullet, each of which takes three small watch batteries. The dolphins are positioned to make contact with the clitoris and the anus. The ring opening unstretched is 7/8 of an inch across, and the ring is 1/2 inch thick.

Performance-

We have used it now for over a year, but it does not come out much any more. The vibrations we ok, but not as strong as the disposable Trojan or Durex cock rings. I blame this on the thickness of the silicone, which is an 1/2 inch thick. Also, the bullet vibrators do turn off on occasion due to the fact that they are rotary controlled and not pushed button operated. The batteries for the vibrators did seem to last through quite a few play sessions, but they are a little harder to obtain because they are not standard batteries.

Care and Maintenance-

Since the ring is made out of TPR Silicone, it is not quite as sanitary as pure silicone. For cleaning, use warm water and anti-bacterial soap, and allow it to fully dry before storing it. For the bullets, since they are not waterproof, we simply use a baby wipe to clean them off. You could also use a toy cleaner or a toy wipe for the bullets.

Packaging-

The ring comes in a cardboard box, along with the two bullets and 12 watch batteries. Only 6 batteries are needed at a time. We always remove the batteries when not in use and put them back in their plastic holder.

Personal comments-

After having received a Trojan disposable vibrating cock ring one day, my wife and I have really enjoyed them. We live in Virginia, and are not allowed to buy them in the standard stores like CVS, so they are a little difficult to obtain, and expensive. We either have to drive to another state to purchase them, or we have to order them online, and they are sometimes difficult to find. That is when we started searching for a reusable ring. The ring worked decently well, but the vibrators were a little weak, and I could hear a difference in the vibrators when I push the ring up against my wife, to the point where you could not hear them on at all. The vibrators would also turn off after enough contact with my wife.

When I first bought this from Eden a few years ago, my wife and I enjoyed it. It was easy to put on in the heat of a moment - unlike the other styles of cock rings which go around both the cock and balls.
