Penis rings can be a great tool for any guy having problems maintaining an erection. They work by constricting blood flow to keep your penis erect. Vibrating rings, while usually not as tight as a plain ring, are great for turning your penis into a vibrator. The Big O Glow is great, because it potentially does both. It is, so far, my favorite cockring. It’s also a great ring for any guy interested in cockrings, because of how stretchy it is.

The Big O Glow is made from TPR Silicone. It is hypoallergenic, non-porous, and latex and phthalates free. Even though it’s non-porous, I wouldn’t recommend sharing it. Being that it’s also made of rubber, trying to sterilize it may damage it. The ring is stretchy and squishy, but it doesn’t feel cheap or flimsy. It does have a light rubbery smell, but it's barely noticeable. It is made from two halves formed together so there is a seam, though I couldn’t feel it while I was wearing it. To give it some texture, the ring has four bands on it with a nub on each one. These don’t really add any extra stimulation for me. The bullet portion has a group of small nubs that my fiancé enjoys, along with the vibrations.

The Big O Glow is 1 1/2 inches wide. It has an unstretched diameter of 3/4 of an inch, and a max stretched diameter of 2 1/2 inches. The ring has four bands around it called pleasure knobs according to the package. On top of the ring is where the vibrating bullet goes. There is a raspberry shaped group of small nubs for clitoral stimulation. The bullet portion is also stretchy so you can remove the bullet to clean it, replace the batteries, or possibly add a different bullet. I found that this ring is pretty comfortable to wear. It's tight enough to keep my penis erect for a decent amount of time, but not so tight that it's uncomfortable.

Being stretchy, it is pretty easy to put on, whether you are hard or flaccid. If you also want to put your testicles through the ring, I would suggest putting it on while you're still soft; trying to do that while you're hard may be a little difficult. The ring is just about as easy to take off as it is to put on. If you have some hair down there, it may be a little painful if any happened to get caught in the ring. Putting a little bit of lube on the ring can also make it easier to remove. I feel that any guy of an average size would have no problem using this ring. As with most penis rings that actually do what they're supposed to, you should only wear one for less than 30 minutes. Any longer than that can possibly cause damage.

The bullet that comes with the ring is better than any other ring I've used. It's not very powerful intensity wise, but it's good enough for my fiance. The vibrations don't really travel well through the ring, which isn't really a big deal for me as long as my fiance can feel it. It's pretty quiet, which can be good if you're trying to be discreet. It comes with two LR1130 batteries that can be replaced. The bullet has a single button to turn it on, cycle between the two functions, and turn it back off. The first is just a constant buzz. The second function cycles through nine different patterns. The first two patterns are seven pulses and one long pulse, then twelve quick pulses and one long pulse. The rest of the patterns vary from there. I wasn't really able to record the rest of them, since it gets hard to tell where one pattern ends, and the other begins. The bullet is waterproof, so you can wear this in the shower if you want.

The neat thing about this ring, and where it gets its name, is that it glows. On the first function it's a solid glow, and on the second function it flashes along with the pulses. While this is a neat feature, the only problem with it is if your pressed against your partner's body, you won't be able to see it. If you're thrusting in and out though, it'll be like having a mini disco in your bed. Something that I think could have made this bullet even better would have been to have a function that pulses in time with music.

To clean the ring, simply wash with water and antibacterial soap. Since it's waterproof, you can put the whole thing under water without worrying about ruining it. The best way to store this toy would be in a small ziploc bag or pouch, since the package isn't very useful for storage. Since this is made with silicone, silicone lube shouldn't be used with this ring.

The package has a cardboard backing, with the ring in a plastic bubble on the front. The front has some feature information, but no material information. The back has a diagram of the ring, pointing out different features of the ring. There is also a warning message along the lines of not using the ring on swollen or inflamed areas and skin lacerations.
