Use

The Tenga Egg is a single-use, silky, silicone masturbator that is almost as fun to play with as it is to use. The Egg is meant to be single use, but with proper care (fuck her gently) it can last through quite a few sessions with the old willy. But wait - there's more! When turned inside out, each unique Egg's pattern can just as easily stimulate your girl's pussy or ass, as well as your own ass. What more could you want from an egg?!

Material / Texture

Remember those Jello Jiggler Easter eggs your mom used to make back in grade school? When you crack open the Tenga Egg, that's what you essentially get - a plush, soft, squishy egg, with a hole to put your dick in. The Egg is made of pure silicone and does have a certain manufactured smell to it, almost like engine oil, but only if you happen to get your nose quite close to it. It doesn't taste bad, but leaves a funky feel in your mouth. It's perfect for beginners and those more used to masturbating with higher-tech devices. Inside each Egg is a unique patterned texture (the one I tried with my guy is the Twister) that I was told feels wonderful, as I don't possess a cock myself.

The outside of the egg is a soft matte, while the inside is sticky, almost gooey, so lots of lube is recommended.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

At the bottom of the egg is where you'll find the hole, which is slightly smaller than the width of the egg, and it looks like a tiny butthole. My boyfriend's dick is quite girthy but the egg stretched to fit over the head very easily. It was really a perfect fit and will accommodate average-sized guys just as well. Be sure to lube up the inside of the egg with a water-based lubricant if you're planning on using the egg for more than one session.

Functions / Performance / Controls

After squirting lube into the egg, my man kind of looked at it and wondered how to get it on his dick without spilling lube all over the place. We thought about it and just decided to get it on his member as fast as possible. It worked! He masturbated with the egg with one hand and looked like he was in heaven. He's never used a masturbatory aid before, so this was a real treat for him. I took over after a couple minutes and twisted the egg this why and that and stretched it further down his cock. I noticed the tip of the egg looked a bit thin so I kept the egg near the head for the remainder of the session. He loved first a gentle twisting, then firmer as he became more aroused. He loves this egg.

I can't say what happens if you ejaculate into the egg, because after about 10 minutes of egging around we just had to have sex. I think ejaculation is possible, and my boyfriend remarked it would be like cumming into a squishy sock. Theoretically, you could just empty it out into the toilet and then wash the egg out.

The only complaint is that the silicone is just too plush and thins out. There were moments when I thought his dick would poke through to the other side, but it never happened. Hopefully Tenga will make a more permanent Egg with a tougher silicone in the future, because this idea and the design is wonderful.
    • Easy to use
    • Very stimulating

Care and Maintenance

To clean your egg, just wash it with warm water and a mild soap or baby shampoo. To dry it, set the egg upright on a stack of paper towels to let the water run out. It dries out fairly quickly and when it does, just tuck it back inside the Easter egg and you're done.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

When you receive your Egg, it's wrapped in a matte plastic adorned with shapes that mimic the chosen texture inside. The wrapper is easy to remove, and then you have basically a plastic Easter egg. Crack it open and you'll find the egg. Turn it over to find the hole stuffed with a plastic applicator containing a sample packet of Tenga lube. We didn't use the lube packet that was included because nothing was in English. We weren't positive that it was water-based and didn't want to use silicone because that would definitely make the egg a one time deal. More instructions and information would really have helped.

The Egg is discreet enough to be tossed in a bag to travel with. After all, it just looks like a damn egg.

Personal comments

I loved using this masturbator on my boyfriend, and he loved it too. He's taking a trip to China next month and I think I'll be getting him a set of these to travel with. They're too cute and amazing to NOT get more.
Follow-up commentary
My guy and I brought the egg out for a second session and this time just did what we could to destroy it. We threw it at walls, at each other, stretched it over anything we could find, just to see what would happen. I did use it as it is intended for, for penises. After about 3 minutes he said it just chafed and he said it smelled funny. Now, when my boyfriend says something smells funny, it SMELLS because he has no sense of smell. He can't smell anything unless it's very strong. We also finally tried the lube and I still can't figure out if it's water-based or silicone. The lube is sticky and made the egg tacky and weird. So yes, the egg finally broke and we had fun with it. I think I'll get him a different textured egg next time (the one I bought was the Twister). For $10, it's kind of fun and worth it.

Great Review!

You can tell if a lube is water or silicone based by the feel of it. A silicone lube will feel more plastic-y on your fingers.

Easiest way to tell a silicone from a water-based lubricant is how they wash off. Water-based comes off easily while silicone requires some soap and annoying scrubbing.

Great review as well. You did a good job explaining the egg.

Thanks, ya'll!

It looked like a little mayonnaise packet and with no English on it, we didn't want to take any chances Now I want to go test it.

so even though they say "single use" it can last a few uses? Cos dang, at $10 a pop, that can get pricey. It would make a great gift too!

This looks so fantastic. I'm looking for some non-intimidating "couples" toys to introduce my new boyfriend to the fine, fine, fascinating world of sex toys Poor little innocent man...I'm gonna corrupt the living daylights outta him!

The title of the review is definitely eye-catching, LOL! Great job!

I especially think it would be awesome for travel because of the compact size. I couldn't carry a fleshlight around for traveling!

whoops. meant to put this under a different topic!
    • From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.

Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

  • tenga+strap-on?
    • I don't know why, but I keep fantasizing about jerking off my strap-on/hard pack cock with a tenga egg. I feel kinda ridiculous about it but WHY NOT POST IT ON HERE (oh god my tumblr is showing)

I know some of y'all have talked about getting head on your strap-on...but this just seems a little weird. I have had fun jerking off my strap-on cock every once and a while too..

Has anybody had similar ideas/experiences? It's kinda the psychological aspect, like with getting head, I guess?

(And so it wouldn't be a waste, I'd give it to my partner to use after I've had my fun, seeing as I'm not gonna cum in it...)
    • I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably like it more if my partner was the one playing with it for me though haha.
    • Actually I have a couple different Feeldoes, and I have thought about using our Egg on it as well. Then I reember there are better ways to get an orgasm from my Feeldoe, but eventually the need to try it will override my need for a quicker orgasm. I'll report back once I try it ;)

  • Fleshlight
    • How does it compare to the fleshlight feeling?
    • Alan says there's no comparison; Tenga egg is more like an enhanced hand job, but the right Fleshlight is like "gettin some strange" (his words, not mine.. LOL)

  • Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
    • So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. See the reason I ask is because his foreskin occasionally will get caught or pinched in a condom, and I know those are significantly tighter, but I'd hate to buy him something that ends up being uncomfortable.

Any uncut guys have experience with these toys and can give me some insight?
    • I hate bumping my own posts but I'm looking for an answer ASAP... I'd like to place my order for other things tonight, and it'd be great to tack this onto the order rather than buying it separately and paying separate shipping.
    • Sorry I'm late.

My Master is also uncut and I got him a couple of Tenga eggs over the past few months. He says they're really enjoyable and they don't hurt. I do rec that your boyfriend uses lube with it, though.

  • Where have all the Tenga Eggs gone?
    • I'm not sure if I keep missing when these come back in stock and they just get bought up really fast or if they just aren't ordering any more. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?
    • I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

:( I have been wondering why those are always out of stock myself. I really want to get one of both Twinkle and Sparkle for my SO, but I have yet to see them stocked myself.

  • Tenga Egg Material
    • I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.

Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.

When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.

So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers?
    • Hmmm very interesting indeed...

We've never used one of the eggs, but I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this. Not that it would make a super huge difference simply because they're so cheap and disposable.. I wouldn't mind if it was Elastomer as opposed to silicone. I'm still gonna get one :)
    • Oh for sure. It just would make a whole lot more sense right. Like why it is so disposable, why it does not seem to matter what lube you use.

  • Single use?
    • I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?

      Thank you!

      Hi Sir!

We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them.
    • Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.
