Eggs-Ellent!!!

My husband and I were expecting a little bit more, but I'm not saying we were left disappointed. It doesn't provide the realistic feel of a Fleshlight, but it does provide a new sensation to your basic hand job, and jacking off. It's also great to add to oral, to switch up the sensations! Overall it is a great toy for the price. You are paying for a one time use toy, and chances are you will get more uses out of it.

Pros:
Discreet size and design, great value.
Cons:
One time use product.

Use

This toy has but one specific use. But that is not to say that you can't spice it up with your own imagination. This can be bought by a man to enhance his alone time, given as a gift to the man in your life, or purchased by couples to spice up their foreplay!

This toy can easily be tucked away in a purse or coat pocket to surprise someone with. I think this would be fun to take out. Tease your man until he can't take it, then hand him the egg and send him on his way to restroom! You could stick one in his cup holder for a long drive. I think this is a naughty little toy and super fun!

The Tenga Egg is simple to use, affordable and FUN! It is non-intimidating for men or women. I am a woman who purchased this for my husband, and I enjoyed it almost as much as he did!

Material / Texture

The egg itself is made out of non-porous silicone. It is very supple and squishy to the touch. It is also sticky and will cling to itself, and without lube does have serious drag. The interior is stickier than the exterior matte finish of the egg. Being made of silicone, you will need to use a slick water based lube, no silicone lube for your silicone toy!

Our egg had the Silky texture on the inside, which is a crisscrossed ribbing. The texture is subtle but does enhance stimulation. I believe that this would work for anyone from beginners to advanced users, although the Silky might not provide the extra stimulation that some may need.

The Tenga Egg does have a very light odor, but has no taste whatsoever. The best comparison of the odor is a rubber fishing lure.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

I personally like the design of the Tenga Egg. It has a small unique shape, and is easily handled. Being small, it can get a little slippery with lube in the heat of the moment. Being the length of an egg, it doesn't leave a ton of room for penetration in spite of its stretchiness, especially if you are on the larger size.

The size and shape of it also make it discreet. At first glance, and even second, no one would suspect "sex toy". Not to say they wouldn't be suspicious if seeing in this in your sock drawer or suitcase. Short of cracking it open and fingering the hole, I seriously doubt anyone would ever decipher the purpose of your egg.

Care and Maintenance

With all silicone toys you need to make sure you do not use a silicone lube, only use water based lubes. There is a packet of lube included, but hopefully you are lucky enough to get more than one use from your toy. I would recommend a slick lube as opposed to a sticker one. This will help to increase the sensation of the textured interior of your egg.

Cleaning of the Tenga Egg is pretty simple. After use, run some warm water through it. You can even turn in inside out if you are gentle. After rinsing, I put a bit of soap on my hands and cleaned the toy a bit more, and rinsed again with water. If you place it with the "hole" down, it props easily for drying.

After the egg is thoroughly dry, you can put the plastic (that the lube came in) back in. Return the silicone egg to the plastic casing and store where you would like. I put ours in a sock drawer.

Packaging

The packaging for this single egg is pretty simple. The squishy silicone egg itself is enclosed in a very plain white plastic egg, very similar to an plastic Easter egg. The plastic egg is then in a plastic wrapper that has an easy perforated area to tear the wrapper off.

Inserted into the silicone egg is, for a lack of a better word, a "plastic tampon", this keeps the eggs shape and also holds the foil pouch of lube that is included.

On the wrapper, it simply says "EGG" then below what texture. Also on the wrapping they have a visual of what the texture looks like. On the back of the wrapper it lists the ingredients and instructions. The instructions are pretty vague, not that there is a whole lot of explaining that needs to go along with a toy like this. It also has a lot of Japanese writing.

I actually like the simple packaging, and think that this would make a great stocking stuffer! The plastic egg casing also can easily double as the storage container for the silicone egg.

Experience

Although this is technically supposed to be a one time use toy, with gently use and care it can be used again. So far we have gotten 3 uses from ours. It is holding up, and only slightly flawed. That's not to say it will last multiple times for everyone.

I recently received one of these for my husband, but I have not given it to him yet since I also thought it would make a great stocking stuffer! I can't wait for him to try it.

Thanks for the review!

You can turn it inside out and have you or your partner put two fingers in it to turn it into a clit stimulator.

  • Anyone have this product? Does it work well?
    • What does everyone who has it think? Do you know anyone with it?

whoops. meant to put this under a different topic!
    • From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.

Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

  • tenga+strap-on?
    • I don't know why, but I keep fantasizing about jerking off my strap-on/hard pack cock with a tenga egg. I feel kinda ridiculous about it but WHY NOT POST IT ON HERE (oh god my tumblr is showing)

I know some of y'all have talked about getting head on your strap-on...but this just seems a little weird. I have had fun jerking off my strap-on cock every once and a while too..

Has anybody had similar ideas/experiences? It's kinda the psychological aspect, like with getting head, I guess?

(And so it wouldn't be a waste, I'd give it to my partner to use after I've had my fun, seeing as I'm not gonna cum in it...)
    • I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably like it more if my partner was the one playing with it for me though haha.
    • Actually I have a couple different Feeldoes, and I have thought about using our Egg on it as well. Then I reember there are better ways to get an orgasm from my Feeldoe, but eventually the need to try it will override my need for a quicker orgasm. I'll report back once I try it ;)

  • Fleshlight
    • How does it compare to the fleshlight feeling?
    • Alan says there's no comparison; Tenga egg is more like an enhanced hand job, but the right Fleshlight is like "gettin some strange" (his words, not mine.. LOL)

i like fleshlight feeling better, but fleshlight is way too big for travel. So if you are gone for a trip, tenga egg is a way to go!

  • Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
    • So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. See the reason I ask is because his foreskin occasionally will get caught or pinched in a condom, and I know those are significantly tighter, but I'd hate to buy him something that ends up being uncomfortable.

Any uncut guys have experience with these toys and can give me some insight?
    • I hate bumping my own posts but I'm looking for an answer ASAP... I'd like to place my order for other things tonight, and it'd be great to tack this onto the order rather than buying it separately and paying separate shipping.
    • Sorry I'm late.

My Master is also uncut and I got him a couple of Tenga eggs over the past few months. He says they're really enjoyable and they don't hurt. I do rec that your boyfriend uses lube with it, though.

  • Where have all the Tenga Eggs gone?
    • I'm not sure if I keep missing when these come back in stock and they just get bought up really fast or if they just aren't ordering any more. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?
    • I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

:( I have been wondering why those are always out of stock myself. I really want to get one of both Twinkle and Sparkle for my SO, but I have yet to see them stocked myself.

  • Tenga Egg Material
    • I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.

Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.

When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.

So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers?
    • Hmmm very interesting indeed...

We've never used one of the eggs, but I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this. Not that it would make a super huge difference simply because they're so cheap and disposable.. I wouldn't mind if it was Elastomer as opposed to silicone. I'm still gonna get one :)
    • Oh for sure. It just would make a whole lot more sense right. Like why it is so disposable, why it does not seem to matter what lube you use.

  • Single use?
    • I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?

      Thank you!

      Hi Sir!

We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them.
    • Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.
