The Tor is a vibrating cock ring made by Lelo. The design is much different than other cock rings, is rechargeable and has 6 different vibrating patterns. It is designed to vibrate the partner's clitoris when worn at the base of the penis. The instructions state that it will deliver up to two hours of vibrations after being fully charged. After using it once, I wouldn't ask my boyfriend to be trapped in this cock ring again.

The look and feel of the Tor gives the impression that it is well made. It has no overt smell, and the seams on the Tor cannot be felt during use. It is made with "FDA-approved and phthalate-free TPE/ABS". When I opened the package I was surprised to find that the top part of the Tor, where the vibrations come from is a hard plastic, coated in something else, to make it seem less hard and plastic. There are no nubby surfaces that would come in contact with my clitoris, just the large, wide and flat surface of the Tor. I expected it to be as stretchy as the 'screaming O' ring we had tried previously. The Tor was nowhere near as flexible of a device.

The shape of the Tor is supposed to hit my clitoris, but it just doesn't. I was on top and tried to align the Tor with my clit, but had great difficulty doing so. I knew the Tor was also quite tight on my partner's cock, so I was worried that it might be hurting him all the while. Sure didn't make for relaxed, enjoyable sex. I never came close to having an orgasm from the vibrations of the Tor, and he didn't seem to be enjoying it much either. The controls seemed easier to manage when I was just holding it in my hand. When we put the Tor on my partner's penis, it was obvious that it was a pretty snug fit. The Tor comes with a nice hard case travel container and a charger. I was reluctant to put the Tor under running water, since the charging port is uncovered. I used a damp washcloth to clean the Tor before storing it again. We did not use lube prior to putting the Tor on my partner, but perhaps that might have made putting it on and taking it off a bit easier.

I charged the Tor fully for the first time overnight, but I can't say whether it would vibrate for a full two hours since we gave up on its effectiveness long before that.

When I charged it overnight, the instructions say the LED would glow steadily once it was fully charged. I never saw the LED do anything other than blink. It had been on the charger for over eight hours, so I had to assume that it was fully charged, and not blinking for some other reason.

The packaging of the Tor was very stylish and classy, just like all of the other Lelo product line. I like the small clam shell case for storage of the Tor. I threw away the other packaging that came with the Tor, in order to streamline the footprint the Tor has when stored. Like all the other Lelo products, the Tor comes with a one year warranty and a ten year product guarantee.

I wish that the Tor had been as great as I imagined a toy of this cost to be. I bought this on sale from EdenFantays at $75, I believe, and it was definitely not worth it. My partner and I got more enjoyment out of a Screaming O disposable vibrating cock ring (with a wonky on/off switch) than we did with this hard, clunky, not very vibrate-y Tor. I had a hard time relaxing and enjoying the sex we were having because I was worried that the Tor was too tight on his penis. I was worried that he wasn't enjoying himself, and when you've got that thought in your head, it is hard to let go and just enjoy having sex.

He commented when I took the Tor off him that it hurt a little bit, but not too bad. He did have distinct red lines on his penis where the Tor had been, so I know it was very tight. We have not used the Tor since then, so I can only assume that it was not very enjoyable for him.
