Finally a High Quality Stroker!
It is a fairly basic masturbator with upgrades in material safety. A good upgrade from the consensus standard. Easy cleanup and a toy that will last a very long time. Feels like the real thing!Published: December 26, 2009
Pros:
Material Safety, Real Feel, easy Cleanup, No funky smell
Cons:
Too short which allows for popping out of the top while in use, price (for some)
After being dissatisfied with the typical cyber-skin material masturbators, which generally smell funny and look like a comical vagina, I felt this toy was long past due. Tantus made no attempt to make this toy look like a real vagina, but boy does it feel like one! It is also made of high quality silicone which means easy cleaning and is a much higher quality and long lasting toy.
Use of this toy is simple, put some lube inside slide it on, and well, stroke! Remember, since this is a silicone toy, do not use silicone lube with it as it will damage the toy. Clean up is easy as you can boil this toy to sterilize it or use soap and water. There aren't any really hard to read places where liquids can get trapped.
Overall, I truly enjoy this toy. Despite its higher price, I think the trade off to have a higher quality and safer material from a trusted, tried and true manufacturer is worth it. This toy isn't really ribbed in the sense of being textured, rather it has 5 rings/ridges on the inside that simulate vaginal contractions while stroking. However, there is a downside. The toy is not long enough as you "pop" out of the top while in use. This doesn't really affect the feel of the toy, but is a bit of a visual that might distract some. The toy also has a tendency to make a loud squishing noise as air gets trapped in between the ridges. As with the real thing, you do need to be hard to effectively use this toy.
Tantus has since created the Stroker XL, which appears to have a modified ridge structure and is longer to solve the popping out problem. Given that the two products appear identical in all other factors, if considering both, I would opt for the XL since it has been introduced.

Follow-up commentary
1 day after original review
After a few uses, I have continued to enjoy this toy, however its downfalls are becoming more apparent. I still think that the material quality in the silicone can't be beat for this type of product, but I do wish it had a few upgrades. I have fount that the smooth outer portion of this toy, while visually appealing, is sometimes hard to hold and it can slip around, some texture for this reason would be nice. I still wish it was longer to avoid the "popping out". Cleanup is still very easy and the toy still feels great while in use.
I should note that of the two ends on this toy, one is meant for the penetration point. it has a inner ring on the edge. I have found that the toy feels better using the right end.

Anyone had a better experience with the tantus stroker?Tantus is an amazing company, virtually every item i see of theirs i will have at least one thing good to say about it. That doesn't short of the stroker. It is a great idea; soft velvety texture, rib like inner lining, and easy to clean. However...I dont like it because it doesn't have any give. most strokers will have some elasticity to be accommodating to virtually all men. The tantus stroker i feel fails in this sense. Even with lubricant, it seems as though it was made for a man requiring "snugger fit" condoms. Another problem with it is unlike most of the tantus products, it is one of the few that cannot tolerate any sort of silicone lubricant. This may not have been exactly what you were looking for, but i do hope it helps you. I'd suggest Cyberskin strokers before the tantus stroker. They're still silicone.
