Lelo's Bo pleasure object is quite easily the best cock ring for any user. From it's elegant and simple design, to the stellar packaging, it's incredible ease and comfort, or the pure pleasure it adds during any use... this is a fantastic cock ring for anyone to add to their collection.

It's hard to justify spending a lot for a toy; a cock ring in particular. But this isn't the typical once and done rings that you would spend $6-10 on, get a use or two, and then toss in the trash. The Bo is not only a better product; it just feels better. Stronger, more evenly distributed vibrations. Softer, more elastic material that is easier to put on and take off, feels nice during use, and provides a great transport for the vibrations created by the removable combined motor and battery module.

The Bo is a very soft and elastic blend of plastic and rubber called TPE (thermoplastic elastomer... which means, a blend of plastic and rubber). Honestly, the key thing to know about this material is that it is semi-porous, so unlike silicon and plastic, you can't boil this thing (to disinfect it), and because it is slightly porous, you should clean and NOT share this toy!

A key benefit of the material, is its elasticity and the inherent property to take some abuse (read as 'stretching' and then retain its original shape and properties.



I had read previously that users of the Bo, stretch it around their scrotum and/or penis, and I didn't really believe it until we started playing with the elasticity of it. I can easily stretch it enough to go around my partner's foot and become an anklet (no, we didn't use it as such during sex, more to see how well it stretches). And while I wouldn't recommend pushing the limits on an $80 rechargeable cock ring (it will fail at some point, it gives you an idea of the durability.

Within the ring, it's completely seamless. In fact, the only seams anywhere on it are where the battery slides in to contact with the ring.

The resting (unstretched) inner diameter of the cock ring itself is ~28mm, which is not very big. But the key here is that it will easily stretch to 3-4" diameter (for easy insertion of... whatever you want to vibrate). Along the inner surface of the ring are two bands, which form the edges of somewhat of a channel. If you cut the ring to look at a cross section, it look like a flattened 'U', with the base of the channel being about 10mm wide, and the ridges sticking up 2-3mm. But when you stretch it around something, the dimensions obviously change, and you end up with a feeling of two bands, one on each edge of the ring.

The only place this channel does apply, is where the motor/battery unit slides in to the ring. Here, the surface is generally smooth and flat, and rests evenly on whatever it's wrapped around. This provides a solid transfer of the vibration from the motor to the ring.

By itself (battery and motor removed), the ring hardly has any weight at all. And once the motor/battery is attached, the weight is still barely noticeable (especially when you're focused on other things.

So, let's talk about all of the Bo's functions... oh, wait.. there are none. No controls, not buttons, nothing! In fact, the only way to activate the Bo (which has a single speed), is insert the battery/motor module to the ring, and voila! You have a vibrating cock ring. While there's no adjusting speeds or patterns, the tremendous upside here is that it's very compact, and turning it on is as simple as sliding in the module, which turns itself on. This allows the user (or their partner in vibe), to stretch the ring around your target, and then when ready for the vibe... slide it right on!

One nice feature about the Bo (only the newer, luxury toys seem to have this kind of design feature) is that the charging port for the battery is easily accessible when it's stored inside it's case.




This is huge! No longer does the device need to sit on the counter, or hang from an outlet. It's already in it's storage case, and can still be charged for next time. (Maybe I'm just overly excited about this, but I love this feature. My We-Vibe 3 has the same design, and it's equally as exciting to me. Perhaps I get too excited about the little things?)
