I should have clarified- I was not "Numb" but rather the sensations was highly dulled due to the vibrations. It's a problem for me even without a ring.
We changed the batteries twice (thought maybe the second set was bad too). We're pretty certain it's the vibrator. Thanks though!

I didn't realize bullets like this were made with adjustable vibration strength- thought it was just on or off. Also, definitely take the ring off when you start to get numb, to avoid hurting yourself in some way.

Did you try changing the batteries in the vibrator? In my experience, the watch batteries that come with toys often don't last very long.
