Use

My partner and I have used a few vibrating cock rings before, and we were looking for a more stimulating ring. A cock ring really only has one purpose, and it certainly did what it was supposed to — prolong performance. This TPE ring is very stretchy and floppy and should fit most men. My guy did find it a bit tight, but it wasn't a problem during use. Just make sure you measure to see if it will fit correctly.

Material / Texture

TPE is slightly porous — not as much as jelly or cyberskin, but enough that you do not want to share this with multiple partners. TPE can be used with both water based and silicone lubricants, and is phthalate free. I didn't notice any smell. The ring is very floppy and squishy. When I first opened it, I spent a while just playing with the hook meant for clitoral stimulation. I had way too much fun just pulling it and flicking it around.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The raised skull design on the front of the ring did not provide any stimulation due to the squishiness of the TPE. I did not really notice the hook on the front, or the nubby diamond on the back. The ring stretches up to 3" in diameter, making it easy to put on and remove. My partner found it to be slightly tight on him, but found it comfortable regardless.

Contrary to the other reviews on this toy, we did not have any issues with the bullet falling out during use.

Functions / Performance / Controls

The bullet is controlled by a small button, which is easy to press, but not so easy that it can get pressed during use. Honestly, I didn't really feel much vibration during use, but my partner did, and enjoyed it immensely.

There are five settings for the bullet, and to turn it off you have to go through all the settings. The settings are as follows: low continuous, high continuous, slow pulse, fast pulse, and slow-slow-fast pulse. The bullet runs on three watch batteries, which are included in the bullet.

Care and Maintenance

The TPE that this ring is made of picks up any fluff in the air — so be sure to store it flat in a plastic bag. The ring can be washed with warm water and soap/toy cleaner.

The bullet is advertised as "splash proof", so for cleaning, just wipe it down.

Follow-up commentary I still don't like it 3 months after original review

We haven't really used this much since I reviewed it. He still loves how it feels, but my ambivalence towards it means that this ring is left in the drawer most nights.
