Vivid doll Sunrise - female love doll discontinued by Doc Johnson - review by Baby B

To be very honest, I got this toy for a bachelorette party. I don't have the, uh, parts to use the doll in any other capacity, so I can't review on that.

Straight out of the box, I was a bit surprised. This is my first blow-up doll, but I didn't expect it to remind me so heavily of a beach ball, right down to the lines and seams holding the doll together, as well as the smell. Oh well, at this price point, I can't complain. She looks absolutely nothing like the picture on the front, which isn't surprising, but disappointing nonetheless. Her face is painted on, with bright red lips, and her vagina is pink, but other than that, you get the same pale skin tone all over. Plus, her boobs are not nearly that big. But still, I'm like, "Let's blow her up and see how she holds up!"

Silly me, I didn't get a bike pump along with this doll, but she only takes about three minutes to fully inflate, depending on how hard you blow. Once inflated, you can push the air tube into her back for a seamless line, and she's pretty sturdy. Unfortunately, she can't stand on her own, which means she was relegated to a corner, but she didn't deflate during the night. The package also comes with a single patch kit, just in case she gets a hole from too much "wear and tear."

Speaking of, you'll have to fiddle around with her a bit if you want to get her into different positions. She can sit if you let a bit of air out of her, enough to fold her in half, but she won't budge if she's fully inflated. Also, all three of her holes are exactly the same. I was hoping she'd have ribbing or some kind of texture so I could point it out to my girlfriends and we could have a laugh about it, but no dice! So she just stands there, staring at you with her big, open, bright red mouth, which is disturbing right until the drinks start coming around.

Cleaning up her exterior is easy enough, you'll just need to wipe her down with a wet towel. Her interior, however, is a different story. Without going into too much detail, once something goes in her mouth, it's pretty darn hard to get back out again. All three of her holes are deep enough that you won't be able to just stick your fingers in there and grab something (I'd say about 5-6 inches), so you can forget about getting any liquid out. It's not going to come out when she's inflated, and you can't just reach your fingers in and mop it up; however, when she's deflated, you can't keep her mouth open wide enough to get anything anyway.

If you're not too wild and crazy at your parties, this doll is sturdy enough to make it through multiple sessions (can't wait to use her again next wedding season!). Just make sure to lean her against something, and never, ever get anything in any of her three holes, because cleaning is just messy.
