The Matador can be used in many different ways. Solo for male or female because of the bullet on this. It is easy to put on a dildo or vibrator and is good for male masturbation or for couples. I would suggest the use would be best as a couple if purchased. The bullet itself can be taken out for either solo or couple play. It comes with a bullet for clitoral stimulation, which can be a great thing. I would not recommend it to beginners. It is a nice cock ring but the extended part of the ring makes it difficult to get on. This could cause frustration to a beginner and push them away from cock rings. There are much better choices for someone new to rings of any kind.

This ring is made of mostly TPR and also contains stainless steel balls and supports. It is hypoallergenic, phthalates free, and latex free. The ring itself is smooth for the most part, but is also nubbed. The TPR material on the Matador is stretchy, but also solid because of the stainless steel. The bullet is made of mainly plastic.
