The Jack Master is a handheld male masturbator, designed to stimulate the penis with a wide variety of bumps, nubs, and ridges. It is great for solo play, as well as partner play.

It also makes for a great workout. If you like masturbating with heavily weighted objects, this is the toy for you. Not only will it get you off, but it will give you a crazy workout as well. If your arm doesn't get tired after a few minutes, you're a stronger person than I.

The outer shell is a hard, red plastic. The design is soft in the middle, allowing for a squeeze effect and letting you adjust the tightness.

The inner sleeve is made with TPR. This means you can use both silicone and water-based lube (even though the packaging recommends water-based). TPR has a lifelike feel and is nearly odorless, but it is slightly porous, which means no sharing.

The inside is filled with an array of bumps and ridges, and the texture will make your head spin.

This is where the toy loses its allure...

The weight is very cumbersome, and it is a very large toy. I have fairly large hands and I had trouble gripping this toy in a comfortable position. To top it off, unless you're deliberately holding the hinges shut and squeezing the toy in JUST the right way, it will pop open. Repeatedly.

The hinges and the "opens for cleaning" aspect is fantastic. Masturbators are hard to clean, and this is a big, big pro. However, when it pops open during use, it gets annoying. When it does it every 30 seconds or so, it really takes away from the overall experience. At first I thought it was just me, since I'm a little thicker than average, but no... every review on this toy mentions the popping open at random times.

The design is interesting. Discreet in a way, but garish in appearance. The random eye wouldn't know it was a masturbator, but they would still see it as an odd looking thing.

The controls are simple. Lube up, stick in your willy, and start pumping.

At least, that's how masturbators are supposed to be.

This toy comes with an added function of a flex-grip design. It's a great idea, allowing you to make the ridges tighter when desired. However, the loose hinges and the 'popping open at random' really makes the Cons outweigh the Pros.

But it gets worse. When the toy slightly opens, make sure not to close it completely shut while in mid-stroke. The plastic on the bottom, when closing, will pinch you in all the wrong areas. During three test sessions, I must have pinched my scrotum or the base of my penis at least a half-dozen times.

Jack Master, this is one section where you excel.

Care and maintenance for this toy is extremely simplistic. The toy is hinged, allowing you to open it along the center and clean out the insides with ease. The TPR interior is best cleaned with soap and water, or a good anti-bacterial toy cleaner. Once washed out, allow the toy to air dry, then close up and save for next time.

The packaging for the Jack Master almost made me want to return the toy before I even opened it.

"IT'S BETTER THAN THE REAL THING!" (I'm sorry, but I prefer the real thing. Sex is more than just sensation to me)

"EASILY OPENS FOR CLEANING!" (Easily opens is an understatement. You look at it funny and it will open up on you. A sturdier locking mechanism would have been ideal for this feature)

"JUST VOTED #1 MASTURBATOR - AMERICAN PUMPERS ASSOCIATION" (There is no APA that I could find on the internet, and this has frustrated a lot of other users for this toy. I prefer my testimonials to be authentic, not faked for a marketing gimmick)

I also liked how it had a "Swedish Erotica" label on it, even though the company is based in California and the toy was made in Taiwan. What's Swedish about this toy? I'm intrigued.

The box is trying too hard to make you buy this toy. It's using every cheesy marketing gimmick out there, and not very well. Add all this to the cumbersome weight of the toy, and most people in a store would pick it up, look at it, and put it back down.

I am glad Edenfantasys has a second-to-none Return Policy, because I'm most-likely going to return this toy. Once I get my refund, I may buy Tenga's version of the 'open for easy cleaning' design. It seems to have all the positive benefits of the Jack Master, without a lot of the problems.

If you can look past the design flaws and the weight, give this toy a try. Worst-case scenario, you'll familiarize yourself with the Return Policy like I did.
