When I heard about the Fleshlight, I knew I had to get my hands on one, at least to try. Once I finally did, the hype had built up my expectations of the little device that I expected it to transform the way I masturbated completely. Unfortunately, I find it to be lacking in quite a few areas!

This specific Fleshlight, as they come in a multitude of shapes and sizes, is made to look like a 22 oz. beer can - and it does.. from about 6 feet away. Anyone who seriously picked this up and examined it wouldn't be fooled for long. Labeled as "Lady Lager" this tongue-in-cheek joke of a beer can is a great gag gift for somebody if you wanted to give it a present!

Scent-wise, there is none! Surprisingly, it doesn't smell of plastic or silicone, or really any sickly sweet smell you may get from a new toy, which is a great relief. Odor on a toy can really throw you off when you're trying to get into the mood.

But the biggest drawback is actually using it - don't get me wrong, starting out, it feels fantastic! Quite near to the real thing, however it's the suction that truly lowers the experience of this product. At the bottom of the can itself is a twist-off part, with tiny holes along the edge that controls the vacuum inside the Fleshlight. Screwed on tight, you can thrust in and let it hang on you - and it'll stay! It's that airtight. Loosen it up completely and you can thrust with no vacuum at all. Finding the right suction between the two can be a serious pain.

Along with the suction are the venting holes for it which I found to be horrendously distracting. I tried this toy sitting up, which meant the vent holes were pointing right back at me - blowing air into my face every time I thrust or push the toy onto me. Again, not something you want to deal with when you try and get into the mood.

Frankly, the Fleshlight is a hard thing to review. On the one hand, it's incredibly realistic feeling, but you're still holding a plastic can in your hand. Secondly, you probably know how to manipulate yourself better WITH your hand than this can ever do. Lastly, aside from this specific one, Fleshlights come in a variety of configurations, colors, etc. How tight is ultra tight, or do you want it a bit wider? Without some sort of experience, you're flying blind when you order.

Perhaps different configurations of the Fleshlight result in a better experience, but for me - I'll just stick to my hand.
