I'll Have the Egg Special

Once you crack open the Tenga Egg, you will find a penis sleeve that is fun, easy to use, easy to clean, and easy to carry around. It is probably one of the best sex toys you can get for the money. The Tenga Egg is another example of good things coming in small packages.

Pros:
Great feel, very discreet, great packaging.
Cons:
Bigger guys need to be careful not to stretch it too far down the shaft.

Use

The Tenga Egg is a penis sleeve that comes in a clever egg-shaped (and sized) plastic case. The toy itself is a soft silicone cap with an opening that you place over the tip of the penis. The cap itself is only about 2.5" long, but like a condom, it is flexible and expands as you pull it down. While you can pull it all the way down the shaft, going much further than 5" down risks stretching it out too much (and potentially breaking it). It is simple to use. Just put a bit of lube on the tip and shaft of the penis, put the tip into the Tenga Egg opening, and slide it down. It gives nice added stimulation to your normal jerk-off session. If you like to jerk-off (or be jerked-off), this toy is for you.

Material / Texture

The Tenga Egg is made of very soft silicone. It feels luxuriously soft, like a fancy pampering condom. But, it is also thin, which gives the advantage that you continue to feel the power of your own grip. Some thicker sleeves can lessen the impact of the grip, resulting in a less satisfying experience. In addition to the soft and thin silicone, the inside of the Tenga Egg has swirling ridges which enhance the sensation of friction as it is rubbing up and down the penis. There is no unpleasant or chemical type odor.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The egg container design is whimsical and makes you want to try this toy out. Like a condom, the Tenga Egg is closed at the tip and can be pulled down the shaft. You can also use it without pulling it down the shaft, so the focus is entirely on the tip. The condom like design along with the softness and thinness of the material all work well make this a toy worth using. Because the Tenga Egg expands like a condom, it can be used by any man, regardless of the length or girth of the penis, with the caveat that you bigger men need to be careful not to pull it down too far (I wouldn't go much past 5"). A toy doesn't get much more discreet than the Tenga Egg. In its egg case, no one will know what it is except for the lucky people who already own one. It is compact and lightweight, easily fitting in a pocket or a bag. It will be your secret.
    • Discreet look/design
    • Whimsical / artistic

Care and Maintenance

The Tenga Egg can be cleaned with soap and water. You can flip it inside out easily so that you can wash off the semen that has collected inside. Since it is made of silicone, you should use a water-based lube when playing with it. You will not need a ton of lube to enjoy the toy. Store it away from light and dust and in a place where it is not pressing up against other silicone toys.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

The packaging gives the Tenga Egg so much of its charm. The plastic egg case is perfect for storing it and will fit easily into a drawer. There were no user instructions that came with it (although there was some writing in Japanese on the wrapping), but it does come with a little package of lube.
    • Discreet looking packaging
    • Good for storage

Personal comments

Having tried a couple of other sleeves, I wasn't all that excited to try another one, but that all changed when I saw that cute little egg. You won't confuse it for the feel of a real live person, but it does feel great and it provides a nice change to the standard jerk. I enjoyed trying it out and I am eager to use it again. While it will not last you for years, it is priced at a level that you won't mind that.

  • Anyone have this product? Does it work well?

whoops. meant to put this under a different topic!
    • From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.

Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

  • tenga+strap-on?
    • I don't know why, but I keep fantasizing about jerking off my strap-on/hard pack cock with a tenga egg. I feel kinda ridiculous about it but WHY NOT POST IT ON HERE (oh god my tumblr is showing)

I know some of y'all have talked about getting head on your strap-on...but this just seems a little weird. I have had fun jerking off my strap-on cock every once and a while too..

Has anybody had similar ideas/experiences? It's kinda the psychological aspect, like with getting head, I guess?

(And so it wouldn't be a waste, I'd give it to my partner to use after I've had my fun, seeing as I'm not gonna cum in it...)
    • I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably like it more if my partner was the one playing with it for me though haha.
    • Actually I have a couple different Feeldoes, and I have thought about using our Egg on it as well. Then I reember there are better ways to get an orgasm from my Feeldoe, but eventually the need to try it will override my need for a quicker orgasm. I'll report back once I try it ;)

  • Fleshlight
    • How does it compare to the fleshlight feeling?
    • Alan says there's no comparison; Tenga egg is more like an enhanced hand job, but the right Fleshlight is like "gettin some strange" (his words, not mine.. LOL)

  • Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
    • So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. See the reason I ask is because his foreskin occasionally will get caught or pinched in a condom, and I know those are significantly tighter, but I'd hate to buy him something that ends up being uncomfortable.

Any uncut guys have experience with these toys and can give me some insight?
    • I hate bumping my own posts but I'm looking for an answer ASAP... I'd like to place my order for other things tonight, and it'd be great to tack this onto the order rather than buying it separately and paying separate shipping.
    • Sorry I'm late.

My Master is also uncut and I got him a couple of Tenga eggs over the past few months. He says they're really enjoyable and they don't hurt. I do rec that your boyfriend uses lube with it, though.

  • Where have all the Tenga Eggs gone?
    • I'm not sure if I keep missing when these come back in stock and they just get bought up really fast or if they just aren't ordering any more. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?
    • I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

:( I have been wondering why those are always out of stock myself. I really want to get one of both Twinkle and Sparkle for my SO, but I have yet to see them stocked myself.

  • Tenga Egg Material
    • I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.

Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.

When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.

So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers?
    • Hmmm very interesting indeed...

We've never used one of the eggs, but I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this. Not that it would make a super huge difference simply because they're so cheap and disposable.. I wouldn't mind if it was Elastomer as opposed to silicone. I'm still gonna get one :)
    • Oh for sure. It just would make a whole lot more sense right. Like why it is so disposable, why it does not seem to matter what lube you use.

  • Single use?
    • I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?

      Thank you!

      Hi Sir!

We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them.
    • Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.
