Okay, well we all know what this is for - make the penis less sensitive so that the erection will last longer ... for all the things you want to do!
We chose this particular gel because it contains a higher level of benzocaine (7.5%), which after looking around on the net, seemed to be one of the strongest (that we could find, anyway) without spending a lot of money.
Speaking of - you can't beat the price of this gel! At first I was surprised that the tube of gel was so small, but you really don't need to use a ton of this stuff to get the desired effect. My husband only uses it to cover the tip, so he really only uses a dab (like an extra large pencil eraser). I'm going to try and get him to put it on the whole deal next time, but I bet a little bit will still go a long way. The consistency reminds me of an aloe gel (but of course this has color and a .. fruity smell).
This gel definitely does help prolong his erection! My husband is very quick on the trigger and this definitely does help prolong things. Unfortunately, he seems to think he has to put it on "right before", so it interrupts things, but I'll have to try and talk to him about that. Experience
I would suggest putting it on and letting it dry thoroughly before play. Then go at it!

I love this stuff as well, its use actually helped my husband learn how to control his ejaculation and he weaned himself off of it. Plus, it does numb whatever it touches, so the instructions say to wait 10 minutes after applying it before touching the partner. When we waited we never had problems with it numbing me at all. Glad you are both enjoying this product, which in my opinion is one of the better things made by Doc Johnson. :)
It does have a non-specific numbing effect...glad it works for you. The fact that it does something definitely puts it up there on the scale of Doc Johnson products.
