The Lover's Ring sleeve looks great. It's clear TPE in the shape of hearts. It's not very masculine but less off-putting than many of the other odd textured sleeves. It's fairly innocent looking appearance will make introduction into the bedroom fairly easy - especially for a Valentine's Day present.

The ring is made from TPE which should be compatible with both water and silicone-based lubes. Lube must be used in order to get it on as the material is very sticky when dry. However, when lubed up, it's very slick and feels great. So long as too much lube isn't used to put it on, it'll still stick to the man's shaft and not move too much. Then, you'll be free to lube the outside as much as necessary once it's in place. After we were done, it was really easy to clean with soap and water. Although, the Lover's Ring was very thin and light, it held up remarkably well under fairly heavy use.

For the man, the texturing is great. If placed near the top of the shaft, it deadens the sensations a bit, significantly prolonging sex. For the woman, the texturing may be a little too aggressive if not thoroughly lubed. Furthermore, even when using enough lubrication, very sensitive women may not be able to go all night long without experiencing discomfort (rubbed raw). So, using the Lover's Ring will have to be used with good communication to avoid negative side effects from marathon sessions.

The Lover's Ring is about 3/4 of an inch in diameter and very stretchy. It should accommodate the vast majority of men in terms of girth. However, it is quite short - only about 3 inches in length. As a result, it will not cover the entire length for most men adequately. If your length is long enough, you could wear two sleeves at once though.

As a side note, the wide open hearts are perfect for catching hairs - for both the man and the woman. As a result, you may want to do a little personal grooming before using it.

Finally, we did not use the Lover's Ring for anal intercourse. Due to the texturing, I would not recommend it's use for anal play as it may be more likely to tear the sensitive lining of the rectum.
