Basics
The Bamboo Lounge Pant is brought to us by Male Power, a men's specialty underwear company. Don't be fooled, though--this lounge pant is not just for the boys. Its rich-textured fabric and relaxed shape will look great on people of any gender, and the wide elastic waistband is easily rolled down to adjust the rise (and the length, to some extent). There is no fly opening, but there are two long side pockets for warming your hands, holding your lip balm, or giving your partner an opportunity to reach in and tease you. The pant is made in China.

Look & Feel
This pant features a 1.25-inch-wide elastic waistband, which feels thick and sturdy, but also has a lot of stretch. This band is decorated with an alternating pattern with two components: the "mp" logo in gray, and a small design of three black leaves chasing each other around a gray circle. The top and bottom edges of the band are embellished with narrow gray stripes.

The rest of the pant is made up of a deliciously soft and silky fabric, which drapes and flows nicely over curves and angles alike. It has a nice weight to it, but isn't a thick fabric. The pocket openings are located on the side seams; they begin 3.25 inches down from the waistband, and are 5.75 inches long. The pocket itself is much roomier, though, extending 12 inches in length from the waistband and 8.5 inches out from the side seam--plenty of room for playing pocket-pool. The legs have a very gently-tapered shape, but don't have much of the appearance of a tapered leg when worn.

Sizing & Fit
Male Power's size chart doesn't offer a lot of detail--it simply states that a size Small should fit waist sizes from 27 inches to 31 inches. I purchased this pant as a gift for my partner, who is 5'3", weighs 135 (rather muscular) pounds, has a 30-inch waist and 38-inch hips, and wears a size 30 or 31 when she wears men's pants. My own dimensions are: 5'5" in height, 140 pounds in weight, 28-inch waist circumference, and 40-inch hip circumference. This lounge pant fits me well, and will fit definitely fit her, too.

The inseam may sound quite short, but it works out very well with the long rise; combined, they allow plenty of comfort room for those who need it between the thighs, while also allowing those with shorter legs to roll down the waistband without inducing the dreaded camel-toe effect.

Content & Care
The fabric content for this lounge pant is a full 95% bamboo, with 5% Lycra spandex added for stretch. According to the information printed on the box, this bamboo is "100% naturally grown and 100% biodegradable." Bamboo also has natural antibacterial properties, which help prevent body odors when wearing; in addition, it's a breathable fabric that wicks away moisture, helping to keep you cool, dry, and comfortable.

The care tag recommends machine-washing in cool water with no bleach, and tumble-drying on a cool setting. Be sure to wash it with other black items to avoid any chance of darkening your light-colored laundry.

Packaging
The box this pant arrives in is a little on the large side at about 10.5 x 6 x 2 inches, but it is nicely decorated with an image of a man wearing the pant next to some bamboo plants. It has a matte finish, and gives the impression of a good-quality product. Inside the box, the pant is neatly folded in a cellophane bag with an adhesive flap. A paperboard tag is attached to the care tag in the pant: one side of this tag shows a man modeling the pant, and the other extolls the virtues of bamboo fabric and lists the company's website.

As mentioned above, I ordered this pant as a gift for my partner; we're taking a mini-vacation trip at the end of the month, and I've collected some goodies with which to surprise her. I've had to test each item though, of course, to make sure it's worthy of coming along on our trip! So, when this lounge pant arrived, I admired the pretty box, then quickly opened it and slipped into the pant.

Ooooooh. I didn't want to take them off! They're cool, soft, comfortable, and look sexy on. I managed to exercise some self-control and remove the pants, repackage them, and save them for the trip. I definitely plan on borrowing them at times, though; in addition, I've already ordered the Bamboo Boxer Short, and plan to order both the pant and the boxer in the Teal color as well.

Oooh, I was so right about this pant--it looked and felt fantastic on my woman, especially on that nice round booty of hers! She was thrilled to receive it, too, and loved the way it felt on her skin. She's two inches shorter than me, so about an inch of the hem was on the floor for her. That didn't seem to bother her, though, and she was able to roll the waistband down if she wanted them shorter.

One negative thing I realized about these: the care tag sewn into the waistband has a very scratchy edge, and was itchy for both of us. We'll be cutting those off.
