The Maven is a handheld masturbation sleeve intended for use by men. It can be used to stimulate the head and shaft of the penis. It is great for beginners as well as advanced users. Why? It's just that good. It is perfect for solo use or adding it to play time with your partner for something new.

The Maven is made of Elastomer which is my favorite material for a sleeve that I have encountered so far. It is latex free, hypo-allergenic and phthalates free. This material is soft, plush, very stretchy and not as sticky as others I've used. It doesn't really have much of a smell unless you hold it directly to your nose, in which case the smell still isn't particularly strong. It also doesn't have a taste. The softness and elasticity of the material definitely make this toy more enjoyable and add to the stimulation.

The inside of the toy is covered in little nubs that are also made of Elastomer. These nubs provide excellent stimulation. There's really no way to explain just how good they feel. This texture is appropriate for any user from beginner to advanced. For the price, this sleeve just can't be beat.

The design of this toy is basic but it works perfectly. One of my favorite features is the closed end. This means that if you squeeze the air out of the sleeve before slipping it on, you get excellent suction. This helps to make the nubs inside all the more stimulating. I'm not particularly sensitive but this toy feels amazing.

The shape is also pretty straight forward. It's a slightly tapered cylinder that can be easily held in the hand.

As far as size goes, I find this toy perfect. It is 7 inches in length and fits up to 2 inches in diameter. I believe that this is stretchy enough to accommodate a penis that is considerably thicker, though. It could also easily fit an average user. I have had trouble with my girth affecting use in other masturbators, but this one has worked well for me even though I'm on the big side.

This toy isn't very discreet. Anyone who saw it lying around would wonder about it. It certainly can't pass for anything but a masturbation sleeve. It isn't very large and could easily be hidden in your night stand drawer.

The Maven is super easy to care for. It's safe to use both water based and silicone lubricants with it, and after use it can be washed with antibacterial soap and water or wiped down with toy cleaner. It also flips inside out very easily so you know you're getting it good and clean.

I store my Maven in the box it came in. It's not much bigger than the toy and it keeps dust and hair off of it.

The Maven comes in a clear plastic box that displays the toy quite nicely. Inside the box is a cardboard insert stating that this toy has a top rating by Sue Johanson of "Talk Sex with Sue Johanson." The insert also states that the Maven is stretchy and pliable, 100% Elastomer, and contains no latex or phthalates. It also instructs the user to store separately from toys of other materials and that it is compatible with water or silicone based lubricant. The insert states that "Deluxe Softwear Skin material feels like the real thing" and that there are "stimulating nubs" inside of the sleeve. It also says that men are encouraged to use a rotating or pulling motion for maximum sensation. The insert also tells us that the sleeve inverts easily for cleaning with water and mild soap or a quality toy cleaner. "With proper care sleeve will maintain original smooth texture."

This toy is GREAT, especially for the price. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to give masturbation sleeves a try.
