Cock rings are all the rage and this one has a lot going for it. It's at a very reasonable price point for a metal cock ring, comes in two of the most common sizes for rings like this, and it's aesthetically pleasing.

In my experience, I found that metal isn't for everyone. If you've used cock rings before and find that you're wanting something more solid than the usual silicone, this would be a great option for you. If you're fine with the squishier rings though, the rigidity might be too much. I wouldn't recommend this as a first buy for someone who has never owned a cock ring before.

Stainless steel is the big draw of this ring. It's stiff, rigid, completely unforgiving, and very sexy.

Because of the material, this ring can be used for temperature play. If you're interested in CBT, dipping this cock ring in ice water for a minute before use might be fun. It can also be a downside, though. Our apartment is naturally a bit chilly and we found that whenever we went for the ring it was ice cold. Having to warm it up with hands beforehand to put it on was a pain.

The black band stainless steel cock ring is fairly simple and for all that it looks amazing. The actual ring is thick and sturdy. It has a satin-smooth finish inside and no hard ridges or angles that press uncomfortably against the penis. It comes in two different sizes and we found that the smaller worked perfectly for my partner. One thing to remember is that metal is a lot less forgiving than other, less rigid materials. Even if it's the same size as a softer cock ring, it'll feel tighter because there's no give to it.

You'll want to put this on when flaccid, like with any other cock ring. We found that using a little bit of lubricant helped get it into place.

The toy came in a simple velvety bag with a beaded chain like the ones used for dogtags looped through it. The company tag made it obvious what's inside, but you can take the chain off easily enough, and the bag works for storage.

The big downside for me with this cock ring (outside of it not working for us) was that the stain for the black band actually splashed, leaving an unattractive mar that detracted from the simple, clean look of the toy. My rating is based more off the quality than on our experience. I could see this working fantastically for someone else - it's just not for us.

My partner and I have tried using this ring five different times, with no real success. Instead of making it easier to get a full erection, he found it nearly impossible. The ring is the right size, but the rigid material just offered too much pressure for him to be able to enjoy. I think it'd work fantastically for someone who is looking for that kind of rigidity, and I wish it'd worked for us.
