The best use for the Dash by NMC Ltd. is just what it was intended for, a vibrating cock ring. This is probably better for more advanced toy users. The only reason I think that is due to the larger size of it. When I first got it my thoughts were: “Oh my god! That thing is huge!” Honestly I have never seen a cock ring that large. It may be kind of intimidating to beginners.

The Dash is made of lavender silicone and a darker purple plastic. The actual cock ring part is the silicone. Silicone is a great material for toys to be made from since it is very safe. Silicone is a 10 on the Eden safety scale. Silicone is made from a semi-organic polymer, man-made material known for wide-ranging stability and water repellence. Silicone is put together with a tight molecular structure and retains heat. For temperature play you can soak a silicone toy (make sure it's waterproof) in warm water before using it. Silicone also repels dust, hair and bacteria and doesn't fall apart with extended friction. Silicone will last a long time if you take care of them.

The plastic part is the bullet inside a silicone sleeve that is attached to the ring part. There is also a plastic "remote" that at first glance resembles a larger bullet. Plastic is also a safe material. Plastic won't attract dust, hair or anything nasty. The downside to plastic is that it is generally hard. In this case the hard bullet is covered by the softer silicone. Only the plastic remote is left uncovered. The remote has a silver ring where it twists open for the batteries to go into. Other than that there is only a button on it.

I like the feeling of the toy after I got past the size. I do think that if the bullet was smaller it would be more enjoyable.

The cock ring and attaching bullet is full of texture and bumps. There is a lot going on around the toy. The ring itself has 8 little half oval flaps that work as grippers. On the outer ring there are 8 bumps with 2 little bumps between them. On the bullet there are 6 raised rings that go completely around it.

It is kind of an odd looking cock ring. I mean it’s huge and has a lot of different things going on with the design. I definitely did not like the fact that it had a cord. I would like it more if it was cordless.

It is easy to put on and take off. The ring stretches to 3" which is double its original size of 1.5". The total length of the ring and bullet is 4.5”. See what I mean by huge?

I honestly think that it could be designed better. Even leaving the ring that size but adjusting the bullet or making it smaller, I don't know but that part was not the greatest experience.

This has 10 variable speeds. Some are just vibration while some are different pulsating patterns. It actually gets quite strong vibrations up to the ring. That may be why the bullet part is so big. Maybe they needed the strongest vibrations they could get. I mean it is only powered by 2 AAA batteries. So I would say it is strong for those little things!

I was showing my boss (I know right? We are good friends too.) one evening and we were playing around with it checking out the functions when my daughter walked in! My boss shoved it under her sweater and started going through the settings trying to turn it off. Well, we noticed that it doesn't have an “off” setting! You literally have to take the batteries out to turn it off and when you turn it closed it just turns on. On the bright side, I just kept talking to my daughter and she never heard a thing! I was trying not to crack up watching the look on her face while she was trying to hide it! But at least it is quiet right?

It works alright. Like I said before, it is very strong but a little too big at the same time. It gives me mixed feelings about it.

Silicone is smooth and not porous. Silicone can be fully disinfected by boiling it for 3 minutes or by throwing it into the top rack of your dishwasher. However, I haven't tried to remove the bullet from the sleeve it's in. I'm afraid that I will ruin it. I just use toy wipes to clean all of it. You do have to take extra care around the bumps and rings to make sure that you get all the nasty out. If you clean it right after use it is much easier to clean.

You can store it in the box that it came in or just simply in a plastic baggie. Silicone isn't sticky so it doesn't attract dust or hair. With that said I guess you could even just put it in a drawer or wherever.

It comes in a bigger box with a see through window that shows the toy. On the box it says "Explore your secret life". Also on the box are various things like 4.5", 100% silicone, gyrating and “Dash playful toy of love.”

Inside was a very little paper that didn't tell much. It does show the different speeds though.
