I was excited to receive the universal sleeves thinking that this could add some spice to our sex play. The anticipation was better than the reality. The little nubs on the sleeves excited me on sight, and I was looking forward to getting started. I was expecting something of a "french tickler" feeling during intercourse, but that was not what I received.

The sleeves were everything they had promised to be, but there had been no mention of how much lube you must use with them. When I put the first one on my husband's penis it was a bit snug to begin with, and he did enjoy the tight fit and my hand massaging him while getting the sleeve on. This was possibly the biggest turn on that was to be achieved with the sleeves. Once we had the sleeve properly placed on his penis, we attempted intercourse with it. I did not enjoy this at all. Although I was naturally lubricated from our foreplay, the minute the sleeve entered me it seemed to dry up all of my lubrication. At this point we stopped, the husband gets out our fall back lube and generously applies it to me. This did allow the sleeve to penetrate more easily, but within a few minutes that lube was gone as well.

While I did not enjoy intercourse with the sleeves, the husband thoroughly enjoys the foreplay. We have decided that this is a great way to get him started when he's a little sluggish, or when that monthly visitor is here as a prelude to oral sex. Even though we had started out excited and been a little disappointed in the middle, we did find a good use that we can both enjoy these surprising little toys. For me the pleasure is simply in getting my man off, and sometimes that is all I need.

After conferring with the husband after my initial review, I have learned that he does indeed like these sleeves much more than I do. He really enjoys the snug fit, and he says masturbation with the sleeves has more intensity. He mentioned that because of the snug fit, masturbation almost feels like oral sex.
