The Omega mirror by Gear essentials is a cock ring. Cock rings come in two varieties. Those meant to be worn around the penis and those meant to be worn behind the penis and testicles. This one is meant to be worn behind the penis and the testicles. In case that is at all confusing think of grabbing as close to your body as you can and pushing your penis and testicles away from yourself. That is how this toy is worn.

Stainless steel is completely non-porous. So it will not harbor any bacteria or any body fluids. This makes it very easy to clean. There are no nooks or crannies on this ring, so cleaning takes less than a minute. Stainless steel also has some antibacterial activity, which is nice. In case you are wondering about how that works. Bacteria have cell membranes. This keep the bacteria in and the environment out. Stainless steel interferes with this membrane and it breaks, so the bacteria leaks all of its insides out and dies. You still need to wash the toy though after each use though.

Stainless steel has absolutely no stretch to it. The diameter of the ring is the diameter of the ring forever. Unless you are the hulk or far stronger than I will ever be this ring is not going to budge. This is not a bad thing, it just means there is less room for sizing error (for example compared to Tantus super soft c ring which I bought. It is very stretchy and can accommodate most sizes I believe)

Stainless steel is compatible with all lubricants. Oil, water, and silicone. I think is important to mention, because you can get some rubbing and skin pinching with a cock ring on, so lubricant can help reduce the drag and any unpleasantness.

I will say I am a 21 year old male and I bought this toy for a new sensation and some aesthetic appeal, so I can not say how well it works for making it easier to maintain an erection. I found some I could feel some increased pressure at the base of the shaft of my penis. But I did not find any change in ease of getting an erection. But erections are easy to get and I get erections outside of the bedroom lots still.

I can actually contemplate on delaying ejaculation though. I found while wearing a cock ring it is harder to orgasm. You get the feeling building up to it, and you penis starts to feel like it is swelling and normally ejaculation occurs shortly after. But that feeling of swollen almost ejaculation was harder to tip. It took longer during the period before I ejaculated. So if you are concerned with the length of your sex a cock ring could help with that. It also changes the sensation. I think the prolonged period just prior to ejaculation is interesting. It adds some novel to sex and it changes your orgasm. It feels different. A little longer, a bit different when it comes out (I found even the ejaculation felt slower)

Overall I think it was fun to try a cock ring. Both during masturbation and during sex. It adds a new sensation that can be fun.

Stainless steel is very easy to care for. Stainless steel will not rust. They add chromium to it, and this prevents oxidation of the metal (for those of who care about the science). This means you do not need to worry if this toy gets wet.

This toy is made of metal, so I do not think it is going to break. You can drop it, throw it at a wall, play ring toss with it and it is going to hold up. So I think it is very low maintenance.

The toy comes packaged in a little drawstring bag. It is very discreet. There are no markings on the drawstring bag. There are two tags attached to it. One seems to just have a bar-code, while the other has the name of the ring and its diameter. The drawstring bag has a velvety feel to it. It is not the most luxurious pouch ever (it just does not feel as nice or have the craftsmanship compared to the drawstring bags Lelo provides), but I have no actual complaints about it. It is nice to have storage provided.

The drawstring bag is quite discreet. If I saw it my first thought would not be sex toy. It would probably be something jewelry related.



There are no instructions with this ring. I think that is actually a fault. A cock ring is not necessarily intuitive to put on. Had I not read about them online previously and how to put one on I think I may have had difficulties using it.
