Play out your anal fantasies with Misty

The Misty Stone Backdoor Fantasy is overall a very enjoyable experience. Though caring for Misty can be a little bit more demanding than silicone or TPR sleeves, the realism in both appearance and feel of Misty's SuperSkin construction makes up for it. The Fleshlight Girls series does lose some discretion compared to other series, but the appearance of Misty's backdoor turns me on to the point that I don't mind. If you have anal fantasies, Misty is there to help you enjoy them.

Use

Fleshlights are typically used as handheld masturbators. Compared to one-piece soft masturbators, the Fleshlight's hard plastic exterior casing is ridged on the outside to make it easy to grip, and the diameter of the grip is perfect to use one-handed. The Fleshlight can also be wedged between cushions or underneath a mattress for hands-free use. For those who particularly enjoy the hands-free style, Liberator and Fleshlight teamed up to manufacture sex furniture that is specifically designed to hold the Fleshlight to emulate certain intercourse positions, such as missionary or doggy-style.

Fleshlights are ideal for male masturbation, either solo or with a partner. In fact, the inventor of the Fleshlight, Steve Shubin, devised the Fleshlight as an alternative to intercourse with his wife during a difficult pregnancy where the doctor advised against penetration ([https://www.wired.com/culture/lifestyle/commentary/sexdrive/2008/02/sexdrive_0215|source). Beyond medical considerations, this Fleshlight model, part of the Fleshlight Girls series, is excellent for fantasy. The Misty Stone Backdoor Fantasy could, in fact, be used to play out anal penetration fantasies if the user is without a partner, or whose partner who doesn't enjoy anal. For couples who are monogamous, but enjoy the fantasy of a third, Misty could be a welcome addition to the bedroom.

Material / Texture

As with all Fleshlights, Misty is made of SuperSkin, Fleshlight's own patented elastomeric gel. Though the exact composition is not disclosed, users will be pleased to know that SuperSkin does not contain phthalates or latex. The material has a very faint sweet-powdery smell that is neither strong, nor offensive and is not noticeable during use. The material emulates the feel of skin quite well, and is particularly convincing when moistened with a good water-based lube. Furthermore, the material does not have a noticeable taste, aside from a slight chalkiness from the cornstarch on the surface that keeps the material soft and non-sticky; if you enjoy or are curious about rimming, this could be the perfect toy to practice on.

On the interior, Misty uses the "forbidden" texture, which is essentially a wavy tube that is constricted and ridged near the opening. I would place the overall intensity of sensation as a medium. The tightness of the first few inches is great during the initial penetration, and also provides good stimulation of the shaft, even when you're deep into the wavy-texture portion of the toy. For me, the tightness of the forbidden texture is nice and stimulating, but doesn't feel constricting like some of the anal-style masturbators I've tried before. After a few minutes of use, the SuperSkin warms up and adds to the sensation.

Overall, the outer and inner aspects of the toy makes it very realistic, both in terms of feel and appearance. I find that looking at the Misty's ass is enough to turn me on; I really get going when I apply lube to the opening and push my finger in to get her ass ready for penetration. The initial texture and the tightness comes remarkably close to matching the real thing.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

I'm quite happy with the design of Misty's backdoor. It's been quite some time since I last got to enjoy being the giver in anal play, and this toy really made my day when I first played with it (and continues to each time). Though there are many things that distinguish Fleshlight from one-piece sleeve-style masturbators, the most notable thing to me is the mass of material at the opening (that surrounds the hole). This mass makes it much more pleasant thrust deep into the toy. You really get the feeling of going "balls deep" in this manner. It also provides additional cushioning and a little bit of "bounce". Furthermore, I really enjoy the visual aspect of the material spreading out as I penetrate it. The only thing keeping this from being a perfect simulation of anal is that it won't gape when you pull out (which would be a unrealistic expectation for a toy). Otherwise, it is extremely convincing, and very easy to integrate into any anal fantasies you may have.

The size of the Fleshlight does seem to be one-size-fits-all. The length from the opening to the end of the sleeve is about 9". The opening, though initially small, is very stretchable. I had no problems with it, and I was able to insert several toys larger than me. The Misty Stone Backdoor seems to have no problem accommodating up to 2" in diameter (a little over 6" in circumference). However, when I tried one of the largest dildos I have, at 2-3/16" diameter, it was difficult to insert and seems to be stretching the hole to its limits. Fortunately, I can report that the material afterward appeared indifferent to the big stretch; there were no tears or visible damage marks.

Misty's discretion is debatable. From across a large room, it does indeed look like an oversized and slightly misshapen flashlight. However, as part of the Fleshlight Girls series, this model's outer case is opalescent white, and is labeled "Fleshlight Girls" on the side. Upon opening the larger cap, one would immediately recognize the shape of the opening as belonging to someone's asshole. However, they wouldn't have to wonder from whose asshole it was molded for very long, as they would quickly notice Misty Stone's signature embossed on the side. Though this toy doesn't scream male masturbator the way a realistic pocket pussy does, if traveling by air I would limit it to checked bags only, unless you don't mind taking the risk of going through security with it.

Functions / Performance / Controls

As I have mentioned earlier, the combination of realistic look and feel make the Misty Stone Backdoor a top performer in terms of overall pleasure. Additionally, the noise level is fairly low. Instead of the slurping/sucking sound that can be loud with some masturbation sleeves, the vent cap system in the Fleshlight restricts the noise to something of a middle-pitched whooshing of air. The noise is even less noticeable when the vent is all the way open. However, the vent could use some improvement. In my use, it seemed like the vent was either opened or closed; I'm pretty sure any control over the suction between these two levels was just an illusion. A redesign of the vent cap might give the user finer control over the amount of suction.

Care and Maintenance

The one sticking point of Fleshlights is that they are a little more demanding in terms of upkeep. The composition of the Superskin material requires that only water-based lube be used, and that soap is strictly forbidden. To clean the toy, the manufacturer recommends removing the insert from the case, flushing it with just warm water to rinse away any "fluid deposits" then letting the sleeve dry before reinstalling it into the case. In the event that it isn't sufficiently dry when stored, it may develop mildew spots, which should be removed with isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol. Again, do not use soap to clean the Fleshlight insert. In the event that you want to clean Misty to a greater extent, Fleshlight sells "Fleshwash" which is an anti-bacterial fluid (triclosan, the typical anti-bacterial agent in liquid hand soaps). However, be aware that Misty is not capable of being thoroughly sterilized, and should not be shared unless condoms are used.

Eventually, Fleshlights start to get sticky, just as a consequence of the material. The stickiness can be mitigated by lightly dusting the sleeve with cornstarch. I recommend getting a cheap paintbrush and "painting" the dry sleeve with cornstarch over the kitchen sink. It is easy to make a mess if you try to sprinkle Misty with cornstarch directly from the container.

I haven't had any problems with thoroughly drying Misty. Generally, it seems to take about half a day outside of the case for the insert to dry completely. I usually shake it a few times during drying to help remove the water inside. After drying, I carefully put the insert back in the case, secure the caps, and store it in my nightstand.

Packaging

Misty comes packaged in an metal cylinder, similar in construction to a tall coffee tin, with a metal lid. The cylinder feels durable and would be good for storage of the toy, except that the packaging would provide even less discretion than the Fleshlight itself. As part of the Fleshlight Girls line, it is finished in pink, black, and silver, with metallic gray silhouettes of nude women with long hair and tall pumps. Opposite the Fleshlight Girls logo is a model-specific label depicting Misty Stone leaning over a slick black Bentley Continental. This outer label provides some brief information on the product, but for more detailed info, you can reference the Care and Usage Guide found inside. The guide is quite useful, and has useful pictures accompanying the text.

Very important: make sure you remember to remove the plastic rod that secures the inside of Misty during shipping. It may not be immediately obvious due to its coloration being close to the that of the Superskin, but failure to remove before penetration may be painful or injurious. Fleshlight may want to consider putting this warning in sticker form directly on the cap of the toy, since I'm sure many users, in their excitement to receive Misty, neglect to read the manual.

Personal comments

The Fleshlight holds a couple of patents as a "discreet sperm collection device". In addition to providing some information about the composition of the elastomeric gel (SuperSkin), the patent is a fun read (if you like technical documents). It can be found here.

Experience

I really enjoy thrusting into Misty. Whether I'm holding onto the case, or have it wedged in place, I've thoroughly enjoyed being inside Misty. Changing the angle at which I'm penetrating allows be to focus the stimulation on different parts of my cock, and helps match up what I'm feeling with what I'm fantasizing about.
