The P.O.V. Suction Stroker (Oral) is a low to mid-priced masturbator that claims to be “thoroughly mouth-like in every way. Tighten you hand around the soft, ergonomic exterior and feel every throat-like nub stimulate your hardness, while the suction entrance pulls the orgasm right out of you!” Damn, that sounds great! I’m glad I read the package insert because I remain clueless as to what the manufacturer means when the call this the “P.O.V.” Suction Stroker - at least I was able to figure out that I’m supposed to stick my hard dick in it and pound away!

Presumably, P.O.V. means “point of view” but I’m not sure what kind of view this masturbator wants. I've since determined that the Suction Stroker doesn't have eyes looking up at me or, even worse, have a secret spy camera that will take videos as it swallows my member – I don’t want a surprise guest appearance on YouTube! That would be just a bit embarrassing. Perhaps P.O.V. means “Penis Orgasming Violently” (now that would feel great), “Pounding On Voluntarily” (well, I already do that), or “Pleasure Oneself Vocally” (that might wake the neighbors)? Hell, I don’t know! Does it matter? At least I figured out I’m supposed to stick my dick in it and let it suck me off.

It didn't take long to realize that this masturbator doesn't require a lot of lube. It’s a bit softer than many of my other ones and I was afraid it just wouldn't get me off. I generally prefer masturbators to be a bit on the firm side. My dick, however, was pleasantly surprised as the interior texture feels great as it rubs up and down my shaft. The softness of the P.O.V. is actually a bit of an advantage as it can be squeezed to alter the sensations it provides.

I am a bit disappointed that it really doesn't have a lot of suction (at least that’s been my experience). The P.O.V. is open at both ends but even when I hold the one end closed, I still don’t get much of a vacuum to slurp on my dick. Regardless, it still feels great and that’s all that really matters.

When the deed is done, it’s also important to keep a good grip on the P.O.V. as it is flaccid and can leak while you’re trying to take it to the sink or shower to clean off. Cleaning, fortunately, is very simple and doesn't take a lot of time.

The P.O.V. Suction Stroker is made from soft, skin-colored TPR, a slightly porous material that mimics real skin. It feels really great when warmed up first (by placing it in very warm water). Both water- and silicone-based lubes can also be used. Unfortunately, this masturbator suffers from the fact that it must also contain UR3 as it simply stinks. It’s got that awful sickening sweet smell that’s characteristic of UR3, although it has a different odor than my other toys. Most UR3 masturbators seem to have that strawberry scented shower curtain smell. The Suction Stroker, however, smells like an overdose of vanilla. Just the same, it’s still awful. In addition, I have found that repeated washings do not remove the scent – this is also similar to other toys with UR3.

Overall, this masturbator feels very good.

One advantage that this masturbator has over some of the others is that the exterior is covered with a series of raised bumps; these are useful for holding it during use and preventing it from slipping out of your hands (and off of your dick). Although getting excess lube on the exterior will make it slippery, the bumps do a good job of keeping it in your hand.

The orifice into which the penis is inserted is molded like a mouth with a very small circular hole. This does not cause any problems as the masturbator is not only soft but has considerable stretch; it should accommodate just about any penis. Interestingly, the mouth is surrounded by a cowl that allegedly presses up against your crotch and helps to create additional suction. Personally, I did not find this to be true. Although there is some suction, it’s not a lot. In addition, the masturbator does tend to make a fair amount of those slurpy, squishy sounds during use.

At approximately six inches in length, most men should be able to use it although larger cocks will pop out of the end.

As mentioned above, the Suction Stroker is very easy to clean – it can be washed in warm water with mild soap or toy cleaner. Both water- and silicone-based lubes can be used.

It is very sticky and is a great dust magnet. It’s unlikely that most people enjoy collecting dust so it is highly recommended that this masturbator be kept in a lint-free container or plastic bag when not in use. A light dusting of corn starch will also help to minimize the stickiness.

The P.O.V. comes in a blisterpak container. A cardboard insert is provided that contains some basic information. Unfortunately, it is neither discreet nor appealing. On the front, there are two photos of women, with their mouths open. Presumably, they are eagerly waiting to swallow your man meat (perhaps that's the “point of view” the manufacturer would like men to fantasize about while jacking off with this masturbator). This fails miserably as the photos look like cheap 1960s porn. The other side of the insert contains more banal things and mentions that the Suction Stroker is “made in PRC.” I suspect that PRC refers to “Peoples Republic of China.” Although this masturbator can be stored again in the blisterpak package, the insert is simply tacky and I would advise just tossing that.

Overall, I like the P.O.V. Suction Stroker. It's certainly not a high-end masturbator but it does the job. I really dislike the sickening sweet stink of UR3 and wish manufacturers would find a way to get rid of the smell. The inner texture, however, is the most important feature and that does feel great.
