From my own use, this toy was easiest to use one coated in corn starch. I did note that a vibrator, like a bullet, can be felt through the material if the extra sensory stimulation is needed or desired. The beads did add to the sensations, and the device was easily stretchy enough to either cover or uncover the head of the penis as desired.
