The textured sleeve is pretty much all a kid could want in a jackoff sleeve. Its open end leaves the possibilities for variety in function wide open. Its TPR material is soft and silky like real skin, and allows for a waterproof play session. It's friendly with silicone and water lubes. What more could you want, really? Alright, so it would be great if it were sterilizable, and if the blasted thing didn't rip after a few uses. Oh, and the lint-collecting habit is pretty annoying. But hey, let's not get greedy now. This is a low-end toy that does just what it promises. And you get a sweet little lube sample to boot! Now, wasn't that friendly of our Asian sex toy creating friends?

TPE? What the heck is that? Well, ladies and gents. As it turns out, it's the same as TPR. What the heck is that, you ask again? Well, A bit of research unearthed the following...

Wikipedia talks about TPR here for those who enjoy the science of things. As it turns out, TPR (ThermoPlastic Rubber) is not just for sex toys. It is a plastic/rubber composite, more commonly used for the manufacturing of anything from toothbrush grips to the new and improved 'comfy' catheter.

TPR is latex and phthalate-free, which is wonderful. But this soft, squishy plaything is porous, so you can't really sterilize it, which is not so wonderful. You can always use antibacterial soap in the cleaning process if you're concerned about bacteria, however.

The softness of the material is what makes this toy so great. It lends give to the texture, so from the bumpy interior for him to the ridged exterior hand grips, none of these details are going to hurt you. In a glass toy, I'd scream and run away from these textures, but the plushness of the TPR provides just enough strength to allow you to feel them, and smile.

The interior is lined with soft bumps to gently tickle your man's thingthang. What's really going to be doing the stimulation will be your, or his hand wrapped around the sleeve, controlling the tightness of the toy. One major drawback of the TPR is not only how unsterilizable it is, but also its stickiness. Every dust bunny in town will want to play with your new toy. Also that soft material will rip and tear, creating little holes that will be difficult to clean, and eventually lead to a 'trashy' demise for the Textured Sleeve.

Cleanup is done with soap and water. Use antibacterial if you have any. Check your toy for tears and be sure to clean out any rips. Bacteria stored in sex toys can cause infections. Yucko.

Air dry and store in a plastic bag or other plastic container. The package it came in will also do the trick.

A good rinse before each use will ensure dust bunnies don't stick to your lubed-up hands or your crown jewels.

Ah, Anime packaging. Always shamelessly indiscreet, covered with Japanese/Chinese writing, Engrish if any attempt at English is made, very little information, and lots of warnings. At least the cardboard is recyclable.

For my boy this wasn't at all the *most* stimulating toy in the world. What really makes it fun is the TPE's similarity to real skin in feel. The variety of ways to play with it don't hurt either. Get creative and you'll find plenty of uses for the Texture Sleeve before it's time has come.
