Bamboo thruster bikini - briefs discontinued by Male Power - review by SexyStuff

The Bamboo Thruster Bikini by Male Power intrigued me - what is this bamboo fabric all about? Oh man, I'm so glad I found out. It is not just a "green" gimmick. The stuff is pure heaven! It is super smooth, soft, and feels very luxurious. Bamboo is a natural, breathable fiber that wicks away moisture. It is thermo-controlled, so it's nice at any temperature. It is antibacterial and great for sensitive or allergy-prone skin. I can't get over how soft it is - it has all the benefits of cotton but in a much softer form. The fabric is 95% bamboo and 5% Lycra, so you get a good amount of stretch as well. The waistband is high-quality elastic.

Packaging
The front of the box features a picture of a clump of bamboo sprouts and a studmuffin model wearing the shorts. The back has another male model and the following information: "Better for the environment... Better for you! Bamboo is 100% naturally grown and 100% biodegradable."





Care
Machine wash cold, no bleach, tumble dry cool. Remove promptly. Wash dark colors separately.

Fit
These run a little large; at least in the back there was some extra room. My husband wears a size 34 pants, so I got the medium. They were a little saggy-baggy in the back; I think next time we'll either get a looser style or get a small.

Now for the pictures. The bamboo fabric is quite clingy, so be warned that they don't leave much to the imagination. And a thanks to my husband for letting me post these.








You can see how the back is too big, though I have to say I didn't notice it during his initial modeling in the bedroom. The front fits a lot better, with a seam making extra room for his equipment. If you aren't into the seamed pouch area, check out the bamboo boxer style. They also sell a brief style and pajama pants in both the teal and the black. We will definitely be adding a few of those other styles to our collection.

I had to sit and think about what a con would be. I know that some people like tagless underwear, and these are tagged so you might have to clip it off if it bugs you. My husband didn't notice; the tag lies flat and isn't particularly scratchy.

I've had my husband test out a few pairs of sexy undies, but these have been his favorite as far as comfort goes. If you are looking for underwear that looks great but also feels great and can be worn all day, the bamboo line is perfect.

I love the soft fabric of these. They are great for everyday wear and look good, too. They also wash up well.
