Stamina pump - penis pump by Cal Exotics - review by Elias McLovin

The Stamina pump from California Exotics is a great tool for any guy that has problems getting it up or loses their erection at an inopportune moment. This is the second penis pump I have used and I would say it's the best.

Penis pumps are very easy to use. You just lube your penis and the sleeve, slide the cylinder over the penis down to the base, and then pump away! Actually I was joking about that last part. Over pumping and prolonged use can be painful and possibly damage the penis. Take it slow and if it starts to hurt, hit the release valve.

The cylinder and release valve are both made from plastic, while the sealing ring, bulb and hose are made from silicone. The cylinder has a ruler that measures in inches and centimetres, up to 8 and 20 respectively. The side with the ruler and the opposite side are raised to allow for an easier grip on the cylinder. The bulb is textured which makes it easier to grip. The opening of the sealing ring is smooth on both the outside and inside, which makes it easy to slide off (with the help of some lube). The ring is also stretchy, which paired with the smoothness, makes it comfortable to use and doesn't cut into the skin like some other sleeves can.

The cylinder is 8 1/2 inches long, so this should be usable for anyone that is around 6 inches long or less. If you're any longer than that and you can comfortably get your penis longer than 8 inches(with the pump), you may want to find something longer. The opening on the sealing ring is 1 1/4 inches but it can stretch up to 2 1/2 inches and the hose is 12 inches long. The silicone ring should fit anyone of around average size comfortably.

The Stamina pumped performed pretty well. Most pumps seem to advertise that they will make your junk bigger and longer, which in my opinion isn't really the case. This pump is different though. This one is best used to increase your stamina, whether you have problems getting hard or have problems staying hard. The one thing I didn't really like was that the silicone ring seemed to be too stretchy. Once I got up to a certain point, it didn't seem to hold a tight enough seal and some pressure would escape if I tried to pump anymore. This may also have something to do with the fact that the sealing ring isn't tight against the cylinder like my other pump. This makes taking it off very easy but it may also contribute to the loss of suction.

Something that I would say is required for using any penis pump is a penis ring. Since all the pump is doing is drawing blood into your penis, you need to have something to hold it in, otherwise you'll lose it as soon as you hit the release valve.

To clean, you can use soap and water or a toy cleaner. If you plan on sharing, the ring and cylinder should be sanitised. One way to do this is put them in the top rack of a dishwasher with no soap. If you have to clean the hose and bulb or just get water in them in general, make sure you let them completely dry before putting them away to avoid mould. You can store the pump either in its package or whatever else you feel is big enough to hold it. Since some of the pieces are silicone, only use water based lube. Also, make sure the silicone doesn't come in contact with other toys as this can cause them to break down.

The pump comes packaged in a large plastic box. It doesn't have any material information, other than saying pure silicone on the front and it has no instructions whatsoever. It does come with a bunch of safety information on the bottom, which I think should be a must for something like this. You can use the box as a storage box if you want but it isn't very discreet. I also wouldn't recommend using it as a gift box, unless it was for a prank.
