Sue Johanson's Head Honcho
Overall, great stimulation and amazing suction but is far too weak and does not last for as long as desired.Published: February 23, 2009
Pros:
Stretchy material with good texture stimulates well.
Cons:
Material is weak and doesn't stand the stresses placed on it.
At first glance, Sue Johanson's head honcho is great! It is appealing to the eye, has amazing suction that stimulates greatly, and is very pleasing to the touch. It is stretchy, accommodates a range of sizes, but still provides a tight feeling during penetration and does not loosen substantially over time.
The biggest downfall to this toy is its material. Jelly-like in texture and consistency, made of TPR silicone, it has a great feeling on skin and glides smooth, but it is far too weak for the stresses it has placed on it. It stretches to accommodate a great range of lengths and girths but once the material has a tiny hole, further use of the toy only expands the hole until is detracts significantly from the function of the toy. Cleaning-wise, the material allows the sleeve to be turned inside out for easy, quick cleaning under warm water, but beware; do not leave this sleeve inside out for long, as it will tear along its seams. Mine lasted about 2 and 1/2 months before it busted entirely along each seam on the sides of the sleeve. Also, this toy does seem to have an overpowering scent about it that doesn't quite fade away, even after it is washed many times.
Overall, I would say that the Head Honcho was designed well for stimulation and has a decent feel to it, but it is not meant to last a great deal of time, so do not expect it to last long. On the plus side, it is safe to use with condoms, water-based lubes, is waterproof, is great for solo or as a couple, and is of decent value based on price versus time. Do not use silicone-based lubricants with this toy as it will cause it to weaken (and break faster than it will already).

Im so confused about all the different materials when it comes to the TPR and TPR silicone toys. What is the difference in feel/texture/use? Im trying to pick out one of these mastorbators for my husband and want to get the right one LOL

Silicone also does not harbor bacteria from what I understand.

Thank you for viewing Sue Johanson's head honcho – masturbator review page!

Was it easy to clean?
" Cleaning-wise, the material allows the toy to be turned inside out for easy, quick cleaning under warm water"
I'd say so.
My partner likes this but was worried about stuff getting trapped in the ridges.
Did you have to leave it out to air dry for a while?
This toy is EXTREMELY easy to clean. I never used any toy cleaners or anything of that sort. It turns inside out very, very easy and can simply be washed off under water. I usually dried it with a towel. The problem I had was that I left it turned inside out too long once and it started to split along the edges and eventually fell apart into two pieces... sad day. But other than that, if you take good care of it, this toy will last a good while.
Sue Johanson did the sex ed lectures for our high school (and a few others nearby) so many decades ago. The price point of her toy line is good, but I wish the quality was better; as it is, I think it does her a bit of disservice.
thanks for the review
Love to try these types of things out on my husband. Thanks for the review!
TY!
