Sue Johanson's well known masturbation sleeve, the "Super Head Honcho" (SHH), is the newer version of the "Head Honcho," touted as being bigger and better than the original. It can be used by men of average length and girth while masturbating, during play with a partner, or as some have recommended, hands free by securely wedging the sleeve between cushions of a chair or the mattress and box spring of a bed. Sleeves generally act as a barrier between your penis and your hand, making it easier to forget you are flying solo. It has no bells and whistles, no electronics and no moving parts. All you need is an erection, the sleeve and some lube.

The sleeve is made of a synthetic material named TPR, which is very accommodating. It stretches in all directions, maintains its shape and still provides pressure while in use. TPR is silicone and water based lube compatible and I recommend always using plenty of lube with any sleeve. The lube allows the sleeve to glide over your penis and prevent a friction burn. I place some lube on my penis and also squeeze some inside the canal of the sleeve.

SHH is fine for first time sleeve users and men who have been using sleeves for years. It is so simple that it needs no instructions. It has the ability to stretch in all directions, however a moderately above average man may find the sleeve difficult to enter, too tight and too short, making the session either unsuccessful and/or uncomfortable.

The SHH is soft and squishy, resembling a very dense marshmallow. By varying the pressure from your hand(s), you can change up the sensations. Inside, the channel is made up of 3 narrow, spiral ribbed areas separated by 3 wider, nubby chambers, ending with the spiral texture area a bit wider than the other spiral areas. The larger chambers are approximately 1" in length with evenly placed nubs about the size of those frozen ice cream dots the kids love. The spiral areas are more narrow and provide a great sensation as the sleeve moves on the shaft.

I found this set up felt quite nice--certainly better than my hand alone. Also, having the material of the sleeve between my hand and penis (almost) lets me forget I am self pleasuring!! The material does not completely feel like a vagina or have the texture of skin, but it does a good job of simulating vaginal, rather than oral, sex.

The dimensions of this sleeve are: 6" length, 1 5/8" diameter, fits up to 2 1/2" (width of penis, also called "girth") and an outside circumference of 5 1/4". Men with a longer and/or wider penis may find this sleeve somewhat short and snug. The opening is 3/8", with the TPR quite thick at the point of entrance, making a pretty full erection necessary to enter. It is an open end sleeve meant to simulate oral sex. I felt no suction and would have to say it feels closer to vaginal sex--but let's face it guys--it's still masturbation.

The outside of the sleeve is lightly textured, making it easy to grasp even if some lube gets on the sleeve or your hands. It is a weird pink color with an opening that mimics a mouth. I find this attempt at realism somewhat off putting. The color alone is so artificial, why add the lips in the same color? It just doesn't work for me. The more simple the sleeve looks, the more I like it. On the plus side, it is semi-transparent and being able to see your (or your partner's) penis is pretty cool. I used this toy alone and with my wife and we both got off on watching my penis, especially when I came.

The textured exterior and the size of this sleeve made it comfortable to hold and use with 1 or 2 hands. It is not a heavy sleeve so it is easy on the hands/arms.

I would describe my penis as HUGE--well, if huge is about 6" long and 2" plus in girth, then I am huge. This sleeve was tight enough to feel good with little left over for larger men. For REALLY huge men, this sleeve may be too tight and too short.

We all have our preferred method of masturbating using similar techniques. I prefer to begin by using long, slow strokes at the base of my penis and work my way up to the tip. As things progress, my strokes get longer and faster and I will roll my palm over the head of my penis. This is an open ended sleeve so you are able to work the head as it pokes out of the hole. I do vary by sometimes using 1 hand and sometimes 2. I usually switch hands if it is a long session. Other men may twist their hands around their penis while stroking or gently rubbing the head. All of these will work with SHH. She can do it all that girl.

As with most sleeves, there is a moderate amount of "slurping" noise as you stroke/thrust. This can be distracting but is something we just have to deal with. It still feels great and gets the job done, quickly or not, it is up to you. The shape and design of SHH is pretty much the same N/S--E/W and 360, with the exception being a flared lip that has a roughly textured portion and a ridged section at the base of the sleeve. The way it flares out along with the texture/ribbing helps to prevent the user's hand from slipping off when quickly stroking. It prevents losing momentum at that crucial moment.

This is a waterproof material so go ahead and enjoy a nice relaxing bath or a shower for 2 (3? 4? 5?)! My wife and I often bathe together and we did use this in the tub. We always use a silicone lube in water because water based lube will disperse and you'll find that there is no lube on your penis or the sleeve. Silicone lubes also work for penetrative sex in a tub. If you want, you can use a condom to catch your cum if you (or a partner) don't want to explode into bath water.

The material is TPR, a 7/10 on EF's safety scale. It is moderately porous and can not be sterilized so if this toy will be shared, condoms are necessary for both users' personal health. It should be washed before and after use with warm, soapy water and dried completely.

As stated in the previous paragraph, it is important to clean BEFORE and AFTER each use. The TPR attracts dust, fibers, hair and even though clean when tucked away, it can be a bit dusty when ready for use. As a precaution, take a couple of minutes and give SHH a bath in warm, soapy water to clean. Turn the sleeve inside out--the material is strong enough and flexible enough so that you need not worry about tears developing. Make sure the inside is fully dry before turning her right side out. Preventing mold from growing is easy--if it grows, you'll have to toss the sleeve in the trash. If you are using the sleeve immediately after washing it, there is no need to let her dry.

If your career or free time has you on the road, this is an excellent travel companion. She doesn't require you to carry anything for her except some good lube. In a hotel, I have washed her with shampoo and warm water. That is a conversation I am not ready to have with an 8 year old!! It's a tough conversation with an early teen, but I prefer to be proactive rather than reactive.

SHH is an inexpensive toy, priced at $19.99 here on EF, making it a great choice for men who have never used a sleeve and want to know if it's for them before investing in a more expensive model. It is effective, easy to clean and store and a good choice for travel. Put together, this adds up to a great toy. The down side is that it may not comfortably, if at all, accommodate larger men.
