Use

My husband is always so jealous of the toys that I keep getting, and he wanted to try something that was just for him. We chose this egg, but we wound up finding quite a few ways for me to use it as well.

The Tenga Egg is designed to be a single use penis sleeve made of soft silicone. You simply slide it over your penis, and from there you can easily play with the soft textures inside the toy.

The Tenga Egg is excellent for using on your own, but we found that it is also excellent for giving hand jobs with. I was also able to put it on my Hitachi with the textured side out to help make the Hitachi a bit less strong. I also slid it over my fingers and used it to rub my clit.

It is such a versatile toy that it is a shame it isn't made of a sturdier silicone. Ours only lasted a few uses before it started thinning, and we designated it as a Hitachi only toy.

Material / Texture

The Tenga Egg is very, very soft and stretchy. I was actually really surprised when we cracked open its "egg" to reveal this small stretchy toy. It is made of silicone, and does have a slight smell to it - but nothing too noticeable.

The egg came with a packet of lube, and to be honest, we're not sure what was in it since it was written in Japanese. However, my husband has no allergies so he decided to give it a shot. He was very impressed with the smoothness of the lube. It has a gel quality to it, but it glides on nicely and worked very well with the egg. It never got sticky or dried up.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The Tenga Egg looks like, well, an egg! It isn't a tight fit, it is very loose and soft. Ours wouldn't even stand up on its own, that is how soft it is. Because of the stretchiness of the toy, it will likely fit most guys. The inside of each egg has its own textures, each one is a little different. My husband said that the one we got felt really great, and he cannot wait to try all the other textures!

The egg also comes with its own packet of lube! It's really like a one-off masturbator kit all in one. Just throw your entire egg, including the plastic shell in your luggage, backpack, sock drawer - wherever. It is really easy to store.

Care and Maintenance

The Tenga Egg is designed to be used once, and thrown away. You can certainly do that, but we were able to get a couple uses out of it before it started to thin. You can wash the toy with soap and water and let it air dry.

Packaging

The packaging on this toy was incredibly cute. It comes inside a plastic egg, just like the kind you get from the Easter Bunny once a year. ;) You just peel off the outer thin plastic layer, then you can "crack" the egg inside open to reveal your egg and a packet of lube.

Personal comments

One major bonus my husband and me found with this egg was that it really was GREAT for hand jobs. We tend to stay away from hand jobs because my husband needs a lot of "speed", and I honestly can't keep up. In fact, half the time he himself gives up on masturbating for the same reason. He generally would rather have sex. Once I slid the egg onto him, I could tell he was really enjoying it though. He came in record time, and neither of us got tired or frustrated. It was really very enjoyable, and we are both looking forward to trying other styles.
Follow-up commentary
For the price, this is still a great item, but unfortunately after a couple of weeks sitting on my Hitachi Magic Wand, the material started to turn "yellow". I've got no idea why this was as I always washed it after any time I used it - but this went straight to the garbage can when I noticed the yellowing.

    • From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.

      Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

  • Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
    • So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these.     • I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.

      Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.

      When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.

      So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers?

      Hi Sir!

      We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them.
    • Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.
