My girlfriend and I had been curious about cockrings for several months now. After reading through reviews and talking it over, we decided that the material of the sleeve, vertical positioning of the bullet, and approximate diameter might make the 4Us a great place to start. The manufacturers specify the material of the 4Us as "intramed". For all intents and purposes, the toy feels and behaves like silicone, with the added benefit of being recyclable and environmentally-friendly.

Both my girlfriend and I find the silicone-like qualities of the ring to be ideal. The ring is not so completely non-flexible as hard plastic, but squishy enough to be comfortable while still providing a good firm surface for her to grind on.

Without burying your nose in the toy and taking a good whiff, one would likely never notice the faint smell of the material. In all honesty, it was only just now, while writing this review, that I did in fact just stick my nose in and whiff.

Another reviewer on the site mentioned the manufacturing seams left on the sides of the toy. While the seams certainly are there, I can confidently state that neither my girlfriend or I have noticed them during any point in our activities. When brushed by a finger, the seams do snag a bit, but do not at all feel rough or sharp.

Overall, we're very pleased with the design of the 4Us cock ring. We both particularly like the slight forward angling of the vertical (vibrating) section which makes it just a little bit easier for the toy to hit the clit.

The expandable portion of the ring lies at the base, which does possess a good amount of stretchability. While not adjustable, per se, the extra bend in the material and stretching capacity of the ring allow for a very comfortable fit for me. When unstretched, the inner diameter of the ring is 1.125 inches. When stretched to the maximum, the inner diameter becomes approximately 2.5 inches. With my own anatomy at 5.5 inches circumference, I found this stretch to be more than enough. I strongly suspect that this toy is best suited for those around 5 inches in circumference and above, as I do feel that the ring could afford to be a little bit tighter on me.

Putting the toy on and taking it off are both simple processes, whether you're wearing a condom or not, thanks to the stretchiness of the bottom portion of the ring. This makes it easy to stretch the ring out with both your hands, slip it over yourself, and release. While not entirely necessary, a little bit of lube does make the initial setup go a little smoother.

The 4Us stayed in place well throughout any variation of positions that we tested. Although everyone's anatomy and preferences are different, we personally found girl-on-top variations to be the best way to get her clit grinding on the bullet.

The 80mm vibrating bullet nestles in to the vertical section of the ring. Containing a single N-battery (available on amazon.com as well), the unit terminates in a simple on/off button.

The vibrations do not cycle or have any variation in their levels of intensity. For my girlfriend, this was a bit of a let-down, as she would have liked some slightly stronger vibrations. That being said, she reminds me, the vibrations did give her an orgasm in under 2 minutes. From my perspective I think that vibrations of any greater intensity might have left my penis desensitized. As it was, I would say that the intensity of the vibrations was just about perfect.

I did notice that I lasted quite a bit longer with this product than I ever have without it. While this is an entirely personal experience and may likely be generalized to cockrings as a whole, I found it downright difficult to orgasm while I was wearing it with the vibrations on. Really, this is not such a bad thing to have as a selectively-deployed tool.

The 4Us comes packaged in a hexagonal tube with a small hole at the bottom. This hole allows the 4Us to stand up on display when the bullet end of the toy is placed in said hole. The exterior of the packaging is covered with the minimal instruction set accompanying the toy, covering cleaning, batteries, use, and a helpful little picture.

Although the toy's material isn't specified as silicone, the general feel of the material is so similar that I've been taking care of it as though it were silicone - just in case. This means that I've chosen to save that packaging as a way to keep the toy safe from coming into contact with any other silicone toys in the drawer. For those who may not know, silicone toys have the unfortunate habit of fusing with one another when left alone for extended periods of time.
