The ring itself is made from a high quality variety of thermoplastic rubber (TPR). It is phthalates-free and has no noticeable odor.

The TPR used in this product is stretchy enough to make it easy to put on your penis, but it's firm enough to grip your penis tightly, which is important if you want a cock ring to be able to restrict blood flow enough to make your erection harder. There is a nice matte texture, and unlike some lesser-quality products, this ring doesn't feel sticky.

The ring has a nubbed texture, which makes it easier to remove, as you can get a better grip on it. I generally look for this in cock rings. (Completely smooth cock rings can be more difficult to remove, and are more likely to take off hair with them.)

The packaging is pretty good, for a product of this type. It's in a simple plastic box, with some humorous, in-your-face yet inoffensive marketing text. There's little in the way of instruction, aside from the all-too-common "novelty only" disclaimer and a warning about wearing it too long. But that's part for the course for this sort of product. It does mention that the product is phthalates-free, and makes a claim that it's waterproof (which I have not tested).

The front of the package is transparent, so you can see what you're getting, and it also points out that not one but two sets of batteries are included. This is great, as toys that use such tiny batteries often go through them quickly. Be careful when opening the package, as the spare set of batteries may fall out if you're not careful. Also, while the bullet has one set of batteries pre-installed, there's a small scrap of paper which you'll have to remove from the battery compartment in order for it to work. (This keeps the batteries from running down before you get them.)

I really liked the way this cock ring fits. It has a nice snug fit which provides a very noticeable erectile enhancement. The positioning of the bullet seems to be a great design as well. The only problem my girlfriend and I have had with it is that the bullet seems a bit too strong for her, especially given that it buzzes at such a high pitch. She tends to prefer vibrators which rumble with a lower pitch. So we might try at some point to find a different bullet which will fit this ring, as this one just isn't quite right for her.
