When I first heard of the Tenga line of masturbators I thought they were going to have a hard time holding up to the quality and variety of the Fleshlight line. I didn't ever pull the trigger and purchase one partly because I was never sure whether to go full bore with the Flip Hole or one of the less expensive Tenga options. I did have opportunity to test out one of the eggs, but I knew that wasn't the full Tenga experience. When I saw that Tenga had introduced new features in the Flip Hole line with the Red, Black, and Silver versions I thought I had found my opportunity to jump in. I received a Silver for review and found it to be an absolutely amazing masturbator. Actual usage is pretty simple. Remove the cover and open it up to apply lube to the inside. Flip the cover back on the other way so it holds the two halves together while giving you access to the hole. Insert cock and push on the three buttons to adjust suction as you thrust. Rotating also provides different sensations as the internal textures touch different parts of your member. The textures provide excellent stimulation and the opening is well designed to contain the mess within the sleeve.

The interior sleeve material of Flip Holes is TPR silicone. This is a very soft, stretchy material. It might not be the material with the most lifelike feel out there, but it is less porous than many of the more realistic materials. It is also easier to take care of, but more on that later. The inner sleeve is cut in half and glued into the skeleton of a plastic cylinder that is also cut in half. Additionally, the sleeve has three "buttons" glued into it on each side. This combination of materials provides the toy with the outer rigidity of plastic in just the right places while the TPR silicone allows for the sleeve to stretch where it needs to.
Aside from the exterior color, the difference between the different colors of Flip Hole is the interior texture. I like to think of the Silver as the crystal mountain Flip Hole as the interior has peaks on both halves that complement each other and provide a very exciting experience for your manhood.

The exterior dimensions of the Tenga Flip Hole Silver aren't critical in its usage, but it is relatively large since it is about 7" long and about 3.5" wide. This means it isn't really very travel friendly as it takes up considerable space, but it certainly isn't worse than a standard Fleshlight and is similar in size to a Sex in a Can. The exterior is more discreet than a Fleshlight as it just says Tenga on one side and Flip Hole on the other. The opening is also not patterned after a vagina, an ass, or a mouth which adds to discretion. The interior sleeve stretches very well, but I am sure there are some guys that it won't stretch to accommodate or they may be too long to get completely inside as it is not open ended. Those guys might want to look to a standard size Fleshlight for extra length although you certainly lose the additional features of this design.

The way that Tenga designed this toy makes it very easy to care for. After you've completed your use, just remove the flip cover and crack the Flip Hole in half. The entire mess is conveniently trapped inside and the entire device can be completely rinsed out. Unlike the SuperSkin of Fleshlights, this material can be cleaned with soap. One should stick to water based lube because even though soap can be used to wash the lube off, silicone or petroleum based lubes will degrade the material. After cleaning, the Flip Hole should be allowed to dry so that no water is trapped inside during storage. This is assisted by the flip lid so that the sleeve can be held partially open by supporting the sleeve on the lid standing on the base. There is a stock photo of this on the product page. It requires a little care to get the right balance, but once in place it works well. After it is dried close it up and put it away. Care should be taken to keep it from touching other toys as portions of the TPR silicone are exposed on the exterior of the device. This is the only annoying part of the maintenance in my opinion.

The packaging is pretty minimal as it comes in a clear plastic container along with three different Tenga lubes. It could be used for storage as long as one doesn't mind the additional space it consumes. There are no pictures on the packaging so it is as discreet as the Flip Hole itself since that is what one sees.

So, I haven't really said anything about the lubes that came with the Tenga Flip Hole Silver. They are the same three that come with all Flip Holes. They are labeled Real, Mild, and Wild. Mild is the thickest of the three and Wild is the thinnest with Real in the middle. The thicker ones are actually almost difficult to get out of the vials. The Mild had a slight cooling sensation but nothing too noticeable. The lubes all worked really well with the sleeve. Another interesting thing about the Flip Hole is that the material is see through so the you can see what's going in between the plastic pieces. It's not like the Fleshlight Ice where you can see everything, but you can see how far you're going into the sleeve. The entire experience was very enjoyable for me and the Tenga Flip Hole Silver will definitely be getting a lot of use from me in the future.
