Alright, now I now how you ladies feel when the spinning beads of your rabbit vibrators aren't powerful enough to overcome your muscle clenching. It must be difficult for a manufacturer to create a battery operated motor that has much torque to it. Maybe Hitachi will start making an industrial strength rotating toy to fill this niche. I'm not holding my breath though.
The idea of the Rotator Masturbator is pretty simple, but the execution of this kind of toy must be near impossible to do well. It is rows of beads that are rotated around an inner sleeve. You supply it with four AA batteries and put your cock in it and turn it on. They built it pretty wide (presumably to allow it to work for the majority of men) but it really ends up being too wide if you have an average sized member.

The product description page lists the Rotator Masturbator's material as silicone. The exterior is certainly plastic while the beads look metal they are probably just plastic as well. The only part that could conceivably be silicone is the interior sleeve which is the portion that your genitals come in contact with, so I suppose it is the most important. In this case, the material seems pretty soft, so I am a little surprised that this is being treated like pure silicone. I didn't flame test it or anything, but I doubt the Cal Exotics of the old days would spend the money to provide a pure silicone inner sleeve. They have been bringing out higher quality stuff lately, though, so I could be wrong. The texture is really provided by the spinning beads and it is pretty good when you can manage to come in contact with it.

Cal Exotics shaped the handle of the Rotator Masturbator to make it easy to hold on to while still being able to accommodate the battery pack and controls. It is smooth plastic, so a lubed appendage is going to have difficulty keeping the grip, but there is some contour to it to help. The size and fit areas are where this is difficult. This toy is certainly too big for me. It's like throwing a bowling ball down a hallway, it occasionally touches the sides, but for the most part I'm left high and dry. If I angle things I can get some stimulation near the opening and at the tip, but angle it too much and I stop the beads from rotating. I guess the way to do it would be to make a tight fitting interior sleeve where the whole interior sleeve rotated, but that would require a much more powerful motor.

The control pad of the Rotator Masturbator worked really well. It has four buttons - one to turn it on, one to change the rotation function, and two to speed up/slow down the rotation. They are very firm so you have to press pretty hard, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing as you know when you've made contact. The motor has five different speeds (in each function) none of which are incredibly fast, but it really shouldn't be about the speed. There are seven different functions two of which are constant rotation in each direction and the rest are combinations of back and forth rotation. There is a plastic casing that holds the batteries that is easy to remove and makes inserting the batteries properly very easy. I thought this portion of the toy was designed very well.

The Rotator Masturbator is supposed to be completely waterproof, but I didn't really test it out. The battery cap is a twist on style that should be able to keep water out pretty well, but I don't know if I would suggest full immersion. It does make it much easier to clean, however, as I wasn't so nervous about getting it wet. It can simply be wiped with a toy cleaning wipe if you want to simply wipe out the inside or any lube that may have gotten on the outside of the device. If the interior sleeve really is pure silicone, then water or oil based lubes should be fine, but I would suggest sticking with water based lubes just to be on the safe side and to make clean up easier. There is no storage cap for it, so keeping dust out of it is difficult.

The packaging for the Rotator Masurbator is a cardboard box that shows pictures of the toy on it and extols its features. No naked men or women, so at least it is discreet in that respect. No question about what it is for, though so if you are keeping it in the box, don't expect there to be any mystery about its function.

There may be some guy out there who has the perfect size penis to make the Rotator Masturbator work just right. If you are that guy, then Cal Exotics has made a toy just for you so you should feel pretty special. I am certainly not that guy. I really was not impressed with the strength of this motor or the ability of the sleeve to provide meaningful stimulation for a wide variety of shapes and sizes. It may be too much to ask of this style of masturbator, but that's what I hope for from all of my masturbation devices. Other than that, the design has a lot of good features that Cal Exotics should be commended for.
