Elite 5x couples enhancer - cock ring discontinued by Cal Exotics - review by RedRidingHood

My Big Bad Wolf and I were excited to use this toy, anticipating what exactly “5X” could possibly entail! The Elite 5X cock ring is advertised by California Exotics Novelties as a five function couples enhancer… basically a pale ice blue colored dolphin designed cock ring (ironically, not waterproof!) with a five function one touch activated bullet. This, of course, promised to be a very exciting addition to our basket of cookies. Upon initial inspection, I was instantly happy with the odorless Senso Plus material. Unlike previous cock rings we’d owned, it was not a sticky, dust-bunny magnet, nor was it so incredibly pliable that I could comfortably wear it as a bracelet. The dolphin ring comprises two small holes, both no more than a quarter of an inch in diameter. Correction, make that a tight quarter of an inch.

The most interesting piece of the Elite 5X puzzle is the vibrating bullet. It requires two double A batteries (not included) and a hearing aid battery (included) to power, which was an instantaneous disappointment because we do not usually keep those size batteries on hand. The buttons on the bullet’s control pack easily transfer the vibration between five very interesting settings. Each one, low vibration, high vibration, pulsation and vibration, high level pulsation, and low level pulsation, even have their own color designation. Yes, the bullet is illuminated with a little tiny light bulb above the up and down buttons. As I said, we were really looking forward to this vibrating cock ring!

California Exotics saw fit to provide a very small bottle of talc-free powder, which I carefully used to help slide the nearly one inch in diameter bullet through the little hole in the dolphin’s head. This was quite a task, since the Senso Plus material didn’t have the elasticity that a regular jelly ring would. As I was wonder how much of a struggle we’d have to get that other little hole around my Big Bad Wolf since we do not have the required rubber compatible lube on hand, the tragedy struck. The dolphin’s head split cleanly open like a grape caught underfoot, and the bullet fell free. Literally, the toy was murdered by a bullet in the head before use.

Sadly, I cannot comment about the Elite 5X’s fulfillment of its promise to simultaneously stimulate the clitoris, vagina, testicles, and anus. We did use the dolphin alone, but found its half-inch thickness and large surface area a hindrance to penetration, not to mention the rubber band-like fit not something that my Big Bad Wolf much enjoyed. This result, I’m sure would not have been noticed at all had the bullet not skull-capped the dolphin and we were able to use it as California Exotics had intended. I can understand that a powerful vibration was intended, but perhaps a narrower and equally powerful bullet could have been utilized in the toy to prevent the breakage of the material. I’m sure we shall find a fun use for the bullet alone, but that was not the point, was it?
