Optimum top gauge pump - penis pump by Cal Exotics - review by college92boy

This was my first time using a penis pump and I've got mixed feelings about it. I like to use it at the beginning of play to get things started. I like to lube up my soft cock and stick it inside so that I can watch it grow. I enjoy watching the gauge to see how much pressure is in the tube. I usually pump it quite a bit, until it becomes uncomfortable and release the pressure. Then I repeat.

The pump has a handle that you squeeze with your palm and fingers. When you first use the toy, it was difficult to squeeze the handle. I think it has something to do with the pressure in the pump. It tends to stick and it's almost like you need to break it in before you use it. I thought I was going to break it the first time I used it because the handle is only made out of plastic and I was putting quite a bit of pressure on it. Finally, with somewhat of a pop, all was loose and the handle could easily be squeezed.

I think this pump works best for self play, I don't think it would work great with couples as it is a larger device and the tube is a little difficult to manipulate because it is somewhat stiff.

I could not smell anything from this penis pump when I used it.

The latex that goes around the cock seemed to hold its suction well. It does require lubricant or the cock will not comfortably move into the pump as intended. On the pumps page, it says that it is latex free, but it also says the sleeve is made out of latex, so I'm not sure. I don't have a problem with latex, so it doesn't affect me.

The part where the penis is inserted is a translucent black which allows you to see the penis inside.

The tube that goes from the handle to the penis is made out of some type of stiff rubber. It does not always bend the way you want it to. It reminds me of coiling up a cable that has a lot of kinks in it.

I think anyone could use this penis pump.

The design of the pump works well. I enjoy having the gauge on the handle, that way I can see how much pressure I'm putting on my penis.

Like I said before, the part where the penis is inserted is a translucent black plastic tube that allows you to see the penis. One problem with this part is that it is a little bit to small for my penis. I believe the tube is close to 7". My cock tends to reach the end when the pressure is pumped up. The tip of my penis then becomes a bit uncomfortable as it touches the part where the tube connects. In the long run, it would be nice if it were longer.

The tube that connects the penis part to the handle is not extremely maneuverable. This makes it a little difficult to store because you have two larger parts that don't sit very well together. It would probably be difficult to bring places because it takes up a lot of room. Somewhat difficult to hide.

The handle is made out of plastic which works fine. I still worry sometimes that I might break it trying to get the initial first squeeze in. Still not sure why it does that but I think it has something to do with the suction device in the handle.

I still do not know how to clean this pump. Like I said, this is the first pump I've owned so I don't know if some are easier to clean that others. I usually just fill up a sink and let it soak in there for a while. The device does not come a part so the whole thing needs to be cleaned at once.

To store it I put I push it into a smaller drawstring backpack like thing. It takes some work to get both ends to fit in there perfectly because of the stiff tube between them.

I believe it will work with most lubes. I use a water based lube and it works fine.
