Trans guy's (modified) masturbatorOverall this toy isn't a great masturbator for a transman. You'd probably be better off buying a cheap sleeve rather than buying the One Shot Masturbator and taking it apart just to use the sleeve inside of it. I wouldn't buy this item again, but it looks like it's been discontinued anyway so I guess that will never come up.
cheap, easy to clean up (throwing it away)
clunky, cheaply made, uncomfortable material
I should start by stating that this review will likely not be much help to anyone other than other trans men. With my growth I've been looking for a masturbator that would work and be enjoyable with my anatomy. I decided to give this toy a shot since it was affordable and not too intimidating. I can say that this toy will work for trans guys with a bit of creativity and effort, but it's probably not the best choice due to the size. The One Shot is meant to be used just once since it's in a small cup-like container and would be a mess to clean out (especially if you were to cum inside it). However, because I ended up essentially taking the toy apart completely and making a much smaller version to better fit my anatomy I have no problem re-using the toy.
The toy is definitely not anything fancy. It comes in a plastic cup with a screw-on lid. Inside there's sponge-like material with a textured sleeve inside. The same sponge-like material covers the opening of the sleeve with an opening where you slide in. I didn't like the spongy material, it was rough and cheap and just didn't work for me. The actual sleeve is textured with bumps that I thought felt amazing once I situated the sleeve to work with my anatomy. Over all I'd say the materials are extremely cheap but I didn't expect much from a one shot masturbator.
As I've mentioned a couple of times already, out of the box this toy is not compatible for trans anatomy, at least in my experience. The sleeve and cup are too wide to provide stimulation for a (my) t-cock, however it's probably about an average fit for a cis guy. I hated the main material of the sleeve so I threw out the sponge-like material and just used the inner sleeve. The design of the inner sleeve is very simple, but feels good. I think the masturbator could have been slimmer, it was a bit clunky and it seemed unnecessary since it was essentially padded with the sponge material. You can take the wrapper off of the masturbator and without opening the toy, I doubt anyone would guess it was a sex toy.
I didn't try the toy in water, I suspect it would work fine in a shower but the sponge-like material reminds me of the little pills you drop in water and they grow into dinosaur shapes. The sponge may not turn into a t-rex, but I would guess it would expand which may actually provide interesting stimulation. Without taking apart the toy and making my own masturbator about an eighth of the size this toy was pretty much useless to me even after pumping. I would have liked to try using it with a cylinder still on and inside of a penis extender, but unfortunately the extender I have (the futurotic) didn't fit will with any of my cylinders and I wasn't able to try.
Since this toy is meant to be used only once, it's extremely easy to take care of: get off and just toss it out. I think the reason this toy is a one shot masturbator is because it would be too difficult to clean out. I would recommend keeping the inner sleeve because it would be easy to clean and reuse. I've cleaned mine with just water and a bit of soap, but since I don't have sperm my cleaning needs are different than that of a cis male's.
Follow-up commentary 13 months after original review
This just never ended up working for me. I think the best bet for a trans guy looking for a sleeve would be to look for a much smaller, tighter sleeve instead.
