Versatile and surprising, the Tenga Egg packs a lot of punch in a small package.

The Tenga Eggs are worth the purchase, at least for one. While you may only get a few rides out of it, it'll definitely be an exciting new experience that may make you come back for seconds and thirds, like it was for me.

Use

I recently bought several of the Tenga Eggs (Clicker, Wave and Stepper) for stocking stuffers for my boyfriend for Christmas. When they arrived in the mail, I couldn't wait, so I brought one out to use on him and saved the rest for later. We tried out the Clicker, which seems to be one of the most commonly reviewed or featured ones.

When we first opened it, we were surprised at how small the egg is; it is completely egg sized. It's hard to believe a cock would fit in it. We popped open the egg (imagine doing an easter egg hunt with these!) and emptied out the silicone egg and the lube sleeve. It was definitely very cold (as was the lube), so I held them close to my body while I got my boyfriend turned on. I wouldn't recommend trying them out cold, as I think it could be a bit of a nasty shock.

After having read other reviews, we put about half of the lube into the egg and squished it around a bit, and then I put it over the head of his cock. He is about average length and above average thickness. We did stretch out the opening to position it on first. He said the sensations of the nubs and bumps inside were a bit unusual, but felt very good. I had no problem stretching the egg over his whole shaft.

There are definitely some different techniques you can use to make your egg last longer, though, such as grabbing it mostly at the bottom of the egg and sliding down, as opposed to using your whole hand and stretching it down. A slight twisting motion feels great as well. We found that stroking about halfway down the cock has the most impact, as opposed to taking it to the hilt. A mild pressure (not kung fu grip, not super light) also maximizes the feel of the interior of the egg.

Clean-up was very easy (take off egg, put in egg case, dispose). I would definitely recommend reusing it. While the silicone does distort at the tip after the first use, we've successfully used it twice without breaking it - as long as you're mindful of how you're stroking with it. I think the third time will most likely be the last, but then, we still have two more Tenga Eggs to try out.

While I obviously used this toy in a couples setting, I think it's a great and discreet toy for solo play or a great addition to your luggage on a trip. As a couples setting, though, my boyfriend definitely looked forward to the next time we used it, and asked for it specifically, which is a pretty good recommendation in itself.

Material / Texture

The Tenga Egg is extremely soft and smooth and has almost a velvety feeling. There is nothing rigid about it. I didn't notice any smell at all, so I doubt that would be an issue. The lubricant that comes with the egg is very, very thick, but also, no smell there. The interior textures are all very exciting; we tried the Clicker texture for our first time, but will be trying two others (the Wave and the Stepper) later on. I've read that some textures are bad, but I'll only know for sure after we've tested more. So far I can't see any of these being painful, but some may just be a bit lackluster in comparison to others.

Shape / Design / Size / Fit

The design is simple, modern, and (dare I say it?) elegant. It's the main reason I started looking into buying a Tenga egg to begin with, aside from being curious about how an average cock would fit into a piece of silicone the size of an egg. If you aren't really into looking at artificial pussies or asses (or if your significant other isn't), then this would be ideal.

While this fit plenty fine for my boyfriend, who is of average length and above average width, I believe a man with a long dick would only be able to use it once, or just wouldn't get the full experience. The width was no problem, due to the flexibility and stretchiness of the material.

    • Whimsical / artistic
    • Will fit most people

Functions / Performance / Controls

No mechanics at all, just lube it up and pop it on.
    • Easy to use

Care and Maintenance

While this is recommended as a one-time use toy, we've used it twice. After climaxing, I turned the egg inside out and rinsed it with warm water and left it to dry. Once it was dry, I turned it back inside right and popped it back in its little plastic egg, with the rest of the lube packet. Cleaning could not be easier. I don't know if it's dishwasher safe, but I wouldn't attempt it.
    • Easy to clean
    • Easy to store

Packaging

Basic pictorial instructions, not much information required, really. But, yes, you will know it's a sex toy when looking at the packaging, so don't try and hide it in your egg carton.
    • Discreet looking packaging

  • Anyone have this product? Does it work well?
    • What does everyone who has it think? Do you know anyone with it?

whoops. meant to put this under a different topic!
    • From what I've seen, the general consensus is that the Tenga Eggs are pretty nice for the price (rhyme not intended, haha!). A lot of people recommend them to guys as first-time strokers, since they're cheap and disposable.

Before asking questions like this in the forum, though, read a few of the reviews. I find that it's usually helpful to read at least one from someone who really liked it and one from someone who didn't, so you can get an idea from both sides. :)

  • tenga+strap-on?
    • I don't know why, but I keep fantasizing about jerking off my strap-on/hard pack cock with a tenga egg. I feel kinda ridiculous about it but WHY NOT POST IT ON HERE (oh god my tumblr is showing)

I know some of y'all have talked about getting head on your strap-on...but this just seems a little weird. I have had fun jerking off my strap-on cock every once and a while too..

Has anybody had similar ideas/experiences? It's kinda the psychological aspect, like with getting head, I guess?

(And so it wouldn't be a waste, I'd give it to my partner to use after I've had my fun, seeing as I'm not gonna cum in it...)
    • I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably like it more if my partner was the one playing with it for me though haha.
    • Actually I have a couple different Feeldoes, and I have thought about using our Egg on it as well. Then I reember there are better ways to get an orgasm from my Feeldoe, but eventually the need to try it will override my need for a quicker orgasm. I'll report back once I try it ;)

  • Fleshlight
    • How does it compare to the fleshlight feeling?
    • Alan says there's no comparison; Tenga egg is more like an enhanced hand job, but the right Fleshlight is like "gettin some strange" (his words, not mine.. LOL)

i like fleshlight feeling better, but fleshlight is way too big for travel. So if you are gone for a trip, tenga egg is a way to go!

  • Tenga Eggs and Foreskin?
    • So I'm curious because I'd love to get my boyfriend one of these. He is not circumcised, meaning he has his foreskin (thank goodness :D ) but that makes we wonder how well these would work for him. See the reason I ask is because his foreskin occasionally will get caught or pinched in a condom, and I know those are significantly tighter, but I'd hate to buy him something that ends up being uncomfortable.

Any uncut guys have experience with these toys and can give me some insight?
    • I hate bumping my own posts but I'm looking for an answer ASAP... I'd like to place my order for other things tonight, and it'd be great to tack this onto the order rather than buying it separately and paying separate shipping.
    • Sorry I'm late.

My Master is also uncut and I got him a couple of Tenga eggs over the past few months. He says they're really enjoyable and they don't hurt. I do rec that your boyfriend uses lube with it, though.

  • Where have all the Tenga Eggs gone?
    • I'm not sure if I keep missing when these come back in stock and they just get bought up really fast or if they just aren't ordering any more. But My partner adores these eggs and would really like to try the Sparkle or Twinkle. However I've never seen them available. Anyone know what is going on with this?
    • I believe that the Tenga Sparkle and Twinkle were 2010 seasonal limited edition, so EF may not be able to get them in stock again at all. Perhaps you can file a support ticket, though, and inquire as to whether or not they will ever return to stock.

:( I have been wondering why those are always out of stock myself. I really want to get one of both Twinkle and Sparkle for my SO, but I have yet to see them stocked myself.

  • Tenga Egg Material
    • I know EF has the eggs listed as being silicone but I wondered if anyone has actually flame tested one of these cute little guys.

Reason I ask is because I went searching the tenga website when someone (and I cannot for the life of me remember who) wrote a review and were unsure of the egg lotion being water or silicone based.

When I stumbled onto the tenga canada site and saw the specs for the egg it said there they are actually made of Elastomer.

So has anyone taken science into their own hands about these little suckers?
    • Hmmm very interesting indeed...

We've never used one of the eggs, but I'm very interested in knowing the answer to this. Not that it would make a super huge difference simply because they're so cheap and disposable.. I wouldn't mind if it was Elastomer as opposed to silicone. I'm still gonna get one :)
    • Oh for sure. It just would make a whole lot more sense right. Like why it is so disposable, why it does not seem to matter what lube you use.

  • Single use?
    • I'm wondering exactly why these are only single-use. I've read most of the reviews, but still do not understand exactly why (I would have commented, I just wanted to make a general discussion). Since it's silicone, shouldn't it be..? Or is it a really low-grade or soft silicone or something?

      Thank you!

      Hi Sir!

We have one and we've only used it once so far, but the top of the egg appears to be thinning, like it will break with one or two more uses. I think it is the grade of silicone, however, I really do think they can last more than one use. Many people I know who use them get at least a few uses out of them.
    • Glad someone posted on these because I'm infinitely curious about them. I hope someone does a video because I still can't get a good idea of how these work just by looking at/reading about them.
